Henrietta
Henrietta continued on her way, mostly just wandering and keeping an eye out for more officers. "I smell smoke," River said, sticking his nose out and sniffing. "You're right," Henrietta agreed, taking in a deep breath instead. It was faint, but it was there. "Should we go check it out?" River asked. Henrietta shrugged. "Sure, there might be something interesting." Henrietta started walking again, but this time she was being directed by River, who's nose was much more reliable than her human one.
"We're close," the ferret said, but he hadn't really needed to say anything. Henrietta could see little plumes of smoke still headed towards the sky. It was good, she supposed. It meant that the fire had mostly burned off already. Looking around her carefully to make sure nobody was nearby, Henrietta placed River on the ground before changing into her cat form. She had decided that it might look less suspicious if a cat approached instead. Her sense of smell was better now, and Henrietta trotted down the street purposefully, River scurrying after her.
