Levi glanced up as soon as he heard footsteps. He closed his book suddenly and inhaled, wondering who the stranger was.
A magic-user! And a cat... A fox, too. The pale-haired boy murmured gently within his mind. It was still raining, but the precipitation had lessened to a slight drizzle. I don't know them. He decided finally, ruffling his hair.
One of his fingers brushed the right horn, and his breath caught roughly. Levi stifled a sigh, biting his lip.

Zoe glanced around, after she had finished patting Suger and Kane. She straightened up and glanced around her eyes in narrow slits, "someone's here" she muttered going silent. Suger let out a hiss her hackles rising as she glanced around she ran off the bridge sniffing around her teeth bared. Kane let out a small growl, and stood next to zoe. Zoe glanced around and sighed "Hello?" she called out a questioning tone in her voice.

"O-oh..." Levi glanced up and stepped out from the cover of the bridge. Rain immediately began soaking his hair, threatening to reveal his secret. He lifted his hands in an attempt to hide his hair from the rain, and hopefully his horns as well.
"Um... H-hello..." His eyes were closed, though he seemed to be staring directly at Zoe.

Zoe finaly relised that her hair was damp, she let out a small laugh and brushed it behind her head. "Hello" she said tilting her head grinning lightly, her fangs peeking out over her lips, she trusted this guy, he seems nice, terribly shy but nice none the less. She grinned "I'm zoe and you may be?" she asked picking up Kane and Suger as the two sat in her arms, she smiled lightly.

Levi seemed lost for a moment, then replied, "Oh, me? Um... I-I'm Levi..."
He could sense her smiling, and in response, smiled softly as well.
"Levi Walker..."
Suddenly remembering his hood, Levi pulled it over his head and let out a relieved sigh. His secret wouldn't be revealed just yet...

Character Name: Seraphina Vira Crow. Despises people calling her Sera for a short name, so otherwise she'll go by Vira, her middle name or Crow, her last name.
Gender: Female
Age:21
Job: None. Lives off her rich father's inheritance money.
Element: Lightning.
Physical Description: Seraphina is a tall, long legged girl. Her skin is fairly pale so it contrasts sharply against her bright red lips and starry blue eyes. Her hair is jet black and sleek, pouring down to her lower back. Her hair is naturally straight, rarely frizzing. Very beautiful, tall, and skinny. Like a modern day model; if you will. Just to clear this up now; She is not Chinese/Japanese/Asian in general.
Weapon of Choice: A simple thick, sharpened piece of bamboo with a metal rod inserted in the middle. The rod will hold electricity when she shoots it into the pipe, and the bamboo acts as a way to accurately throw it. Many people think bamboo as weak, but she can also use the stick without her electricity. It is sharp, and acts very much like a spear.
Interesting Details: Her voice is hard to describe. Silky like velvet, yet it can be harsh and demeaning at the same time. Cavli, her pet, seems to find her voice quite soothing, she can speak to the cat for hours. Her favorite colors are blue and silver, and she enjoys eating any sort of seafood. She uses sarcasm every other word, it seems. If something displeases her, she has an odd tendency to bunch her fists, even if the situation isn't that bad.
Natural Abnormality: Nothing.
Personality: Extremely sarcastic, and harsh. People who don't know her well can be tracked in by her beauty but then shooed away by her disposition. Quick to assume things. Impatient, doesn't take long before she starts to get angry. Like dynamite, one little flare will set her off. Once she's started going on about something that's upset her, it takes a while for her to die down again. Can be very serious when called for, and is very intelligent, even though many don't perceive her to be so. Has quick reflexes and skills in jumping and running. Tends to be very anti social, she'll even go so far as to walk away from someone if they come to her when she's in the right mood. As mentioned earlier, she's extremely harsh in her tone and word choice. She has earned the nickname 'snake' by some, as she's sly, crafty, and strays from people.

Around three-four years old.
Seraphina is licensed to own him, and has permission. She has room behind her house, where he tends to live in a large, open cage. He also comes in the house. Cav was a pet of her father's, who was a zookeeper, until the lion grew ill. Her father, whom was a vet for exotics, took care of the beast from a young age. Her father eventually gained permission and brought the animal home. Seraphina also has the permission, and knows how to care for Cav.
History: Not much of her history was important enough for Seraphina to remember. Her mother died shortly after she was born; as the process of birth was quite deadly and primitive. Her father was a rich zoo owner, Seraphina spent most of her younger days at the zoo helping around. It wasn't until her 12's that she discovered her talent, and she's been playing with it ever since. Her father died when she was about 19, so she inherited his vast money and the lion, Cavli.

To take cover from the rain Edwin walked inside an eerily quiet bookstore. Alice had dashed off somewhere before he had. He took a quick breath, walked up to the closest rack of books and began to skim them. Seconds later, a young woman came out from behind a door and sat behind her desk and began to work. Edwin noticed that she briefly looked up to rest her disgusted gaze upon the young man wearing such grimy clothes. He sighed deeply. Always, he thought to himself. This always happens. He finished skimming the books and silently walked out of the bookstore with the woman's gaze still following him.

As he stepped into the rain, he realized he would catch a cold at the rate it was going. All he had was an old shirt that didn't even provide him with any warmth...or protection from the ferocity of the rain. All in all, he didn't mind it but being sick is one of the worst things Edwin could think of.

A thought suddenly occurred to him. A raven's outside coat of feathers are water resistant....

And with that, while no one watched, he disappeared and a dark object—or perhaps creature—flew off into the rainy sky.
