Neil~
Taylor's recent thoughts about who he was were dramatically skewed from how he saw himself. Also, they were very wrong. He was not a strong-willed person. He was not brave. Neil was nothing but a coward, too fearful to take his own life. Many times, he had tried. But, even though the scars of his own self-harm were visible on his pale flesh, the man had never managed to end his useless excuse for a life.
On the topic of visible scars, Neil still hadn't been able to put on his shirt. At the moment, it was nearly impossible for him to do so alone, as the man's broken ribcage shot agonizing pain through him whenever disturbed. Must've been cold. And painful.
He couldn't have been described as physically strong, either. Just a lanky, underfed, pale, mangled excuse for a living creature. And, without a shirt, Neil just looked even more feeble. Anyone who assumed that he was incompetent would be in for quite a surprise, though. He could still kill without hesitation.
The girl's question was quite silly. Regardless of what Elizabeth had looked like, Neil would always think she was beautiful. Physically, she was indeed quite pretty. But that hardly mattered to the broken Magician. Elizabeth had cared about him in times of need, and that was all that he wanted. Someone who provided kindness. A light in his dark world. But the candle flickered out, leaving him alone in the shadows once more. What a sad, isolated life that Neil led.
"She was so very beautiful. Both appearance and personality-wise," Neil murmured, voice growing gradually more distressed. His next comment was so dark spoken in such a grave tone. "She was like an angel..."
The sickly-looking man sucked in an odd-sounding lungful of air and brought both brows together, glaring at the grey ceiling overhead.
"But then the day came when God decided to steal her back." There was a dreadfully long moment as he turned away, overwhelmed by ragged, painful-sounding coughs. Halfway through the bout, Neil clenched both fists and slammed one against the stone wall behind him, choking in a desperate attempt to regain his breath. It was difficult to remain conscious with the striking pain that was flowing through his veins. And dear God, did it hurt.
A furious hiss emanated from him, and a few moments later he rasped, "He f***ing took her away. And it's my fault..."
((GUH. Long post is long. And quickly edited. =_= I didn't even try to fix any mistakes that I made.
@Mouse:No one in particular is actually without something to do. ^^" And Neil, Taylor, Alec, and Clara are all currently just sitting in prison. *Cough cough* Taylor's fault. *Oh cough cough cough* :P Unless you want to find a way to bring Ra- OH WAYT. I HAS IDEA.
Bro, PM me. I'll share with you my wonderful thoughts on how you may possibly be able to bring Raven into the situation involving all of our jail-bound characters. Though, it may will involve him having to put up with a few Magicians, one who is clearly insane. Rest assured, it won't require him to get arrested, though. ^^
ALSO. It's fall, heading into winter. I should probably add that to the first post. But I'm lazy. So it may never happen. :D))
