Layla nodded at him still smiling. She was also a little suprised he said thank you- maybe he wasn't so bad after all.... Lost in thought, Layla finally realized what he said, "Human? Aren't we all humans?"

knowing that wasn't the

there. She let the cool water
run down her throat and into

She blinked calmly again and
gazed at the boy. She blushed.
"God. I'm sorry." She
murmured.

Eric stood up slightly pushing her put of the way, he got his bag up as well, "in some way yes" he said and walked in the bathroom locking the door behind him

Layla froze. She had no idea what he meant and was now really suspicious. Layla knew most of the people here were somehow special but not human? That was scary.

Lantz blinks a few times before the statement sank in. the bell rang just as he was going to say something. he sighed.

"i'll talk to you later Persalia. need to go to P.E." said Lantz as he rushed to get all of the things he needs for it.

Persalia groaned
inwardly but smiled.
"Alright." She murmured
sheepishly. "I-I guess
I'll see you later then."
She stood up and
slipped out of the room.
She swore under her breath
but slumped in a hallway.
Ugh. She's so ugly. Ha.
I mean look at her makeup
and all those piercings!
She heard a girls voice in
her head. She looked up
stunned. A girl was passing
her by with an obviously
forced smile. It was apparently
the girls voice. And with that,
Persalia found out the second
half of her power. She could hear
thoughs of others, as long as
they pertained to her....

Eric sat down leaned on the door, "why did she put me with humans?" he asked himself on a murmur, he stood up double checking the locked door, he opened the shower and stayed there some time under the warm water just thinking. he turned the water off and opened his bag, he looked at the blood bottle, he would save it for later. He put on some clean jeans and a white long sleeved shirt, he opened the door and came out with his towel around his neck and his bag on his hand, his hair still wet and water dripping from it

Layla was sitting on the bed with the curtains to the side so she was visible. She was contiously thinking what him meant by the human thing. Layla seemed to be so curious around Eric. She finally got the courage to question him again. Layla interogated, "What did you mean by in some ways were all humans?"

Lantz raced across the campus and towards the gymnasium. he quickly changed in the lockers and went to the foot ball fields. he always liked to watch the games but he never tried it.

(k) Leroy was outside on his front lawn reading, bobbing his head to the music streaming through his earphones. Him and his older brother, Clay, just moved here and started in a new school tomorrow. He wouldn't miss any of his friends because he didn't have any. "I'm going to enjoy today, nomatter what I think tomorrow's going to be like." he thought as the song switched to Knee Deep.
