I watched the wtaer as it swiftly flowed by. Kenina had her eyes closed, so I knew I couldn't talk to her. I stood up with out waking her and look at the surroundings. I couldn't really see anything but the river, I headed up the cliff that was behind where Kenina was right now. I was just going to see where we were, then come back.

Lark bowed at him. "Wolf?" She asked the girl, who slid her swords into their sheaths. The girl nodded, then disappeared. Lark looked quizzically at the spot she had been in before, and shook her head. "Aragon. Nice to meet you. Yeah, sure I'd like to train here."

(I have to go, I have tutoring. I shall be back in around an hour and a half. Feel free to go on with the story!!!! I shall read it when I get back)

Ms. Winters came back with two cups of green tea. "Yes child. Ask away."
Kalia thought for a moment. "Ok..why havent you told me earlier who you are?"
"Well, Kalia, because it wasnt the proper time. You were young and needed to learn on your own. You wouldnt believe it anyway at such a young age."

"Fair enough Ms. Winters. What is the connection between two riders with the same mark? A friend of mine and I have the same, and when I touched it, I got shocked..."
"Well, that hasnt happened in years. It is probably connecting with the Evil One. It simply means that you have a greater connection with them than with other dragon riders. In the old days, riders worked in teams. They had the same mark and that meant that they were a team."

"Ok, so um...who is the man after the Riders?"
The sorcerist sighed. "Well...to start off he is not man. He, too, is a sorceror. The most powerful in existance to be exact. He wanted to become a draonrider, but his heart was so full of evil that no dragon would accept him. So He scoured the earth, killing every magical creature He could find and stole their magic. He changed Himself into a half dragon and half human. He can transform between either. Now, as revenge, He wants every dragon and their rider killed. He knows that if they unite that He will be defeated. That is why you must find other dragon riders."

"Kalia took a while to process all of this. "What happens when we have enough riders? What do we do from here?"
"You form a bond together. Train and harness your powers. You must be able to fight together, as one. Blend your powers together as one, for He is powerful"

Kalia looked down to her feet. She thought this was impossible. "Ok..We will try. Thanks for your help." Kalia began to stand.
"Wait." Ms. Winters stood and walked over to a chest. She took out a hand mirror, a velvet bag, and a stone. "The mirror is a way for you to contact me. We can communicate through it. The bag is empty now. When you take it to the others, one by one pick out a neclace. Each is a stone that unites you all. The stone is a healing rock. It heals many wounds. Use them well child."
Kalia took them gratefully.
As she steped through the doorway she paused. "One more thing..is my brother alive?"
The sorcerist paused. "Yes. He is being held captive somewhere in the country."
Kalia nooded and walked into the night.

"Ok, your tent is right over there." he pointed to the tent that he had just set up. "If you need anything you can ask me."

Lark nodded. The dragon symbol on her hand glowed softly as she glanced again where the white dragon was, where the girl named Wolf had disappeared. She shivered, and walked over to her tent, Jiaolong slithering through the air beside her left ear.

Wolf watched the girl and Aragon silently. Lark, who was confused and a little nervous, was obviously used to meeting people, and she obviously had friends, friends who were still alive. She had nice clothes, so she must have worked, or come from a wealthy family, but there was one odd thing. No shoes. This girl would be a puzzle all right.

{Yah, you can call me penguin, most do. but i dont know what else to write...i was just going to start off from when she leaves the city and goes back to the camp..}

By the time Kalia had left the sorcerist's cottage, it was nightfall. She had made her way through the orchards and the little forest, tucking the supplied she had been given safely in her pack. As she arrived back at the burned building, once home, she walked back inside. She frantically checked everywhere for anything that had survived. She had once again found her mother's neclace, along with some meaningless items. She stopped under a burned desk, where she saw a floorboard that was out of place. She removed it and peered inside. Under the floor, was a book. It had clearly not been damaged in the fire, so she picked it up and dusted it off. On the front, was a large dragon with many different colored circles around it. She tried to open it, but the lock would not budge, as if it was protected by magic. Kalia could not read the title of the book either, for it was written in an ancient language. She stuck the bag in her pack and trudged out of the area and through town. The main entrance was closed, but it was easy for Kalia to jump the fence.

Tiral had been getting worried, for Kalia had been gone all afternoon. It was now dark, and he could scense her coming towards him. Through the shadows, Tiral saw the shape of his rider come through the forest. "Thank heavens, I am glad to see you are safe."
"Well," Kalia replied, "I met the old sorcerist that gave you to me. Why didnt you tell me Tiral!" she cried, jumping onto his saddle.
"You were too young. But lets be off." With that, Tiral flew into the air and soared through the skies, back to camp. They soon could see it in the distance. "Kalia..." Tiral wispered. Kalia turned away, still a little mad at her dragon. But she patted his side. "Keep going." she replied.
Kalia couldnt shake the horrible feeling she had inside. How am I going to convince everyone to work together?...Who is this Evil One really...Is he watching me at this moment... She could scense that he was...

"Yours is the same as...as mine!" he said. He was surprised, really surprised. He missed Kailia and wondered what she had found out.

Lark looked back at him. "My mark? Oh, yeah. I guess. I just assumed that everyone has the same mark. Are everyone's different?"
