"Agreed," Makala grunted as she pulled herself onto a large grey rock. She looked onto the horizon and saw a dolphin, along with a long, colorful mermaid tail. "Hey, someone's out there"

Crayon clawed against the sand again, turning towards where Makala had seen a tail. "Should we go and see who's out there ?" He asked, tilting his head to the side a little.

Kiah splashed at him with her tail, rolling her eyes. "You just want it to be some girl mermaids so you can perv on them, instead of humans." She snickered. Her only reply was Crayon shoving her underwater quickly and taking off towards the other mermaids, leaving her and Malaka on the beach.

Makala smirked and rolled her eyes to Kiah.
"Makala!" A tall boy with blonde, shaggy hair hopped over rocks, only to come over and obnoctiouslly cover his step sister in an awkward head hug.

Kiah lifted her head from under the water and glared after Crayon, ready to swim after him and tear his head off. But, then someone yelled Makala's name. Kiah's eyes widened and she ducked low to the water, ready to flick her tail and disappear into the ocean if there was any danger. "Who's that ?" She asked, watching the guy with his arms around Makala very closely.

Crayon swam along, heading in the direction that Makala had said she'd seen a tail. "Hello.. ?" He called out - underwater. He waited for a reply, wondering if there really was another mermaid out here.

Lucas pushed Makala away and looked over at the girl. "A- friend?" He stepped forward with his hand out.
"Oh don't act like your such a gentleman," Makala rolled her eyes over to Kiah, "He isn't and never will be- he's my step brother... long story."

Kiah looked at his hand for a moment, then held hers out the same way. She didn't know if he was going to kiss it or something, so she just grabbed his and shook it gently. After releasing it, she smiled a little. "Well, it's nice to meet you. Even though I have no clue how you two could be step-siblings." She mumbled.

Crayon was still searching.

My dad married her mom, who was part-mermaid but he didn't know about it... hm I guess that story isn't that long..."
Makala rolled her eyes for about the hundredth time tody, and they started to cramp up, so she shooke her head, then noticed that she probably looked stupid, so she asked," Hey, what's taking Crayon so long?"

"He's probably still searching for those mermaids.." Kiah mumbled, glancing in the direction her brother had taken off in. "Maybe we should go and find him ?" She asked Makala. She wasn't sure if that included her step-brother, since he was human. Could he even swim ?

Lucas could tell by Kiah's expression that she wanted him to go, but he probably couldn't. I can swim, but probably not as far as you two are going. I'll just saty here." He walked over to the reef and sat down.
Makala looked back twice before she threw herself back into the teal water.
