Yui slowly ate the cake, smiling the whole time.


"And what if I am then," she asked, tears lining her eyes. "He's my friend too." Tears started to drip from her eyes. "I might not have been as close to him as you were, but the three of us were always together. Even Sakura and Kakashi-sensei... N-naruto... I want to go too..." She wrapped her arms around his neck and laid her head into Naruto's hair, letting her own fall into her eyes.

Neji smiled and ate.

Naruto sighed. "Fine but if something happens..run."

[Elric]

Whe Yui finished, she stood and headed for the river. Kneeling down, she started to wash her hands. She moved to get some water on her face, but her foot slipped out from under her, throwing her over into the cold liquid. Yui looked up from the water she was under, before hitting her head on a rock and blacking out.

Kara felt her heart-beat pick up. "What about you though?"

Neji quickly pulled her out. He listened for a heartbeat but it was very faint. He then began to perform cpr, pumping his hands onto her chest then plugging her nose and pressing his lips to hers, blowing in air. He repeated the process.

Naruto held her closer. "I will be fine."

[Elric]

Yui gasped gasped in air and started to cough up water. She laid on the ground almost lifeless, her skin pale.

"What if you're not? What if something bad happens to you," Kara asked.

Neji sat her up as he patted her back.

Naruto let out a small sigh and looked her in the eyes, placing his hands on her cheeks. "I will be fine." He spoke with a calm, soothing voice.

[Elric]

Yui didn't move; she only coughed up more water.

Kara placed her hand on his, and looked him in the eyes. "Yeah, well if you die before me, I'll somehow kill you again after my death because someone will have to raise the child fully, and I may not be alive at that point... So it only leaves you,'' she said with a serious face, poking the middle of his chest every time.

Neji rubbed her back and then hit it a bit harder but not enough to hurt.

Naruto grinned and nuzzled her nose with his. "Did you know you look really sexy when you look serious?" He then gave her a small smile. "I'm too stubborn to die and besides...I can't just leave you...What kind of husband would I be if I did that?"

She coughed again and opened her eyes slightly. Everything was blurry and a few tones to dark. Yui looked over to Neji. "Hi there,'' she said weakly, but teasingly.

Kara glared at him playfully before answering his last question. "You'd be a terrible one,'' she answered, a smirk on her face.

He gave her a slight smile. "Hi." He took off his shirt and put it on her so that she doesnt get sick.

Naruto grinned. "See? And besides...I need to become hokake before I can even think about dying!"
