She couldn't speak. It was like the meat was stuck there. Finally, Yui got it down. "Yes please,'' she gasped.

Kara sighed. She had been wanting to talk to TenTen and Hinata lately, and to some extents, Ino and Sakura. "Okay, but you're old. You could've easily missed something,'' she muttered in a whisper.

He handed her a bottle of water. "Here."

Ichiraku's daughter Ayame walked up. "He is telling the truth...I watched as well." She smiled at them.

Naruto nodded. "Hmmm."

[Elric]

Yui drank it slowly, but she was more than embarrased. How could she not be?! "Thank you Neji."

Kara smiled a fake smile ,"Okay, I believe you. Well, I'm headin' home now,'' she said.

Something just seemed wierd to her. As she got up, she looked in that direction again, bit her lip, and started towards her house.

Neji nodded. "You are welcome."

Naruto quickly paid and followed after her. "Your still bothered about it arent you?"

Yui looked at him and thought the same thing over and over again. She took another bite of the steak and it went down ease. For that she was thankful.

Kara looked at him before nodding. "Yeah, something just doesn't seem right."

He closed his eyes as he continued to eat.

Naruto nodded and held her hand, weaving his fingers with hers. "I agree."

[Elric]

Yui finally finished and looked through the bag again, a smile crossing her lips. She pulled out a piece of vanilla cake that had nothing on it. She cut it into two pieces, and started towards her house. She came back with some frosting, sprinkles, and more. She opened the container and started to frost the cake.

Kara looked at their hands; two halves of one whole. "Naruto? When are you going to go looking for Sasuke again?" She looked at the ground. Sasuke and Naruto had been two pieces of one whole before Sasuke left for Orochimaru.

Neji gave her a wary look. "Be careful...you can get sick from eating too much icing,"

Naruto looked down, a sad look in his eyes. "Soon."

[Elric]

"I know,'' she replied. When shefinished, she moved to the sprinkles, and poured a little onto it. Next, she added a small mint leaf to the top of both slices. She then took out two plastic cups and poured water into each one. When she was through, she handed one slice to Neji. "To friendship,'' she said.

Kara looked at him sadly, tears lining in her eyes before her brows furrowed together. "I'll come with you."

Neji gave her a charming smile. "To friendship."

He pulled her close, burrying his face in the crook of her neck. "You can..if you aren't pregnant."
