Max remembers he stuffed a metal pole, and some other metal things in his backpack before escaping 'prison' he runs back to his backpack and carries it back to Layla. He pulls the metal pole out "Back up" he says. And hits the wall with the metal pole.

Layla scooted back and watched the wall start to crumble, she grabbed the pole once she would fit through. "Thanks." she stated and slipped outside. She was bloody, weak, and very cold. She hugged the small boy, "Thank you, where are you going?"
