Stone’s Bipolar causes him to act like he is two completely different people, like the different sides of the same coin. During his highs, Stone is actually a very amusing person to be around, often laughing and joking around. Seeming like any other boy his age, but when he falls into one of his lows, he completely changes. Stone, like his name sake builds barriers around himself rather than opening up to anyone, being cold and distant, rarely even talking to anyone.

Stone has that kind of History that you normally see in tear-jerking movies, something to horrible to be real. Ever since he was born Stone was never able to catch a break. During his toddler years his mother left him and his twin brother with a raging drunken father. Years went by without anyone figuring out the pair of boys where abused on a daily basis. Then one day, Stone’s father came home after drinking more then usual and dragged Zane (Stone’s twin) into his room which is when the screaming started and everything after that Stone forced himself to forget .That night a 9 year old Stone fled into the night, but being young and naïve he had no idea how to survive on his own, weeks later Stone stumbled upon an nice young couple who has just lost there own son, thinking it was a sign the couple adopted Stone.

Ryder’s personality can be summed up in one word, Protective. Ryder always act like the older brother to everyone he meets even if he comes off as shy at first. Ryder is often withdrawn from others, which is a side effect from his past, he’s scared to let anyone hurt him so he builds walls to keep everyone out. But Ryder just wants someone who will take the time to get to know him and if there’s one thing he learned from his ‘Father’ is to never hit a child.

If you ask me to sum up Ryder in a few words, I couldn’t, and it would be impossible but let’s try. Ryder Sen is a 19 year old boy who was forced to grow up too fast, first when his father abandons him after years of abuse. Ryder’s Father had all always been distant from his family, often coming home in the middle of the night drunk and smelling of smoke and illegal drugs. But even with that, A young Naive Ryder not more than 7 at the time looked up to his father not understanding that other boy’s father did not beat their children. After Ryder’s Father disappeared one night, it was up to Ryder to provide for his mother and himself, soon he took to the streets. Seeking out the gangs and drug dealers, hoping to just make a quick buck now and then but soon he was sucked up into the gang’s hierarchy. They controlled him, at first it just started out as Stealing from people or stores, the occasional drug deal and even sell weapons but Ryder; being under legal adult age was never arrested, resulting in a perfectly clear record. But that’s when everything changed for Ryder; His mother fell deadly ill and died within a few days with an unknown illness. Ryder couldn’t coop with the loss of his mother, and without knowing where his father was, Ryder was now an orphan at the age of 15. He was taken away from his home and was put into a foster boarding home with other troubled Teens where Ryder lived until he was able to transfer to Eastside to further his education.
