Jewel blushed and glanced at the ground to avoid his gaze, great....now her brother figure liked her and Taro liked her but wanted to be only a brother figure. She sighed and laid on her side, wings wrapping around her body as she thought.

Alyce calmed down, leaning baco once more. A part of her was surprised as to their location but the other part was just happy to be around River and that side was a bit more dominate as she smiled at the boy.

Taro smiled faintly when she said that. "Glad to know that it actually means something," he said as he stepped into the room. He didn't mind if Chanae came inside as well. "Yeah, I don't blame you for not going back to talk with him. I'm not quite sure what to think of him myself. He's the father of two kids already. Dumped his human mate off somewhere and blah. Makes me wonder what other plunders he'll have. Hopefully it's nothing too serious for us."

River smiled and kissed her gently. "Better?" He asked.

''Much'' Alyce said, smiling back. ''But I have to get back home before my parents notice'' She said, frowning at the thought.

"Alright," River said. He turned the lights up slowly, closing the blinds back down and fixing his hair. He took her out of the theater and drove her home.

Jewel sat up and rubbed her forehead, "Dear lord...." she sighed, obviously overwhelmed.
