John glanced at her, "Jewel has a strong spirit. You do too." he stated, not really knowing why.

Jewel sighed and nodded, staring at the sky.

"Heh, I'm sure hers is plenty stronger than mine," Lynn said as she pulled her wings closely to her sides. "I don't even know what kind of spirit I have... Probably a soft one that will get crushed easily."

John chuckled, "I doubt it."

Lynn couldn't help but smile when he said that. "I'm not sure what makes you say that," she said as she looked over to him. "I wish I was always in a chipper mood like you seem to be."

John shrugged, "I'm just weird."

"We're all quirky in our own ways," Lynn replied with a light laugh. She was normally optimistic and happy but ever since Jayson came into her life, she wasn't quite sure how to act. She was sure that he'd be annoyed with her normal self. Actually, she was surprised that John didn't seem the slightest bit irritated with her now.

Jayson looked Jewel in the eyes. "You," he whispered. He hoped she loved him, but didn't want her heartbroken.

Chanae grinned with a friendly warmth, looking to Erica and bobbing her head in greeting. "Welcome to the flock Erica." Her eyes twinkled asshe said this. She had always loved to meet new members.

"I know that's probably it," Taro said with a light sigh. "If it means anything to you, I don't think of you being below our kind. I think of you more as an equal. And I'm glad you like the room. You can go back to speak with Jayson if you want. I didn't mean to interrupt anything." His gaze flickered over to Chanae when she soon arrived. "Mhm. Chanae, this is Erica. Erica this is Chanae."

(no I missed so much man time zones so do suck!! lol we have like a love square and then Erica is pretty much scared of love ^^ or will be anyways)

"You have no idea how much that means to me." Erica told Taro in a low voice. He probably honestly didn't, that was the second time she'd heard that said to her in all of 300 plus years. She shrunk back slightly as another person approached. She wasn't used to so many new people, and though she'd only met four, and now five, she was already getting over whelmed. Erica was a shy soul by nature, it was only when she was mad about something she was outgoing. Right now she wasn't very mad. "Hello Chanae, and thanks." she replied quietly with a small smile. She glanced over to Taro and shook her head, her voice gaining some strength as she replied to his comment about Jayson. "No I'm not going to go talk to him, nu uh," she said shaking her head emphatically. She'd already decided she didn't like him, and she guess he didn't like her either. She could deal with that, it wasn't like it was new or anything.
