Chanae laughed in pure pleasure as her wings shot out of her back, stretching them with happiness as she walked outside. She had been waiting to do that all day, it was one of the best joys in the world to have your wings out and about after a long hard day of keeping them in. She looked up at the sky with a desire to take flight, but she hadn't finished packing yet. Yeah, she was latewith everything she did, but she honestly couldn't stop getting distracted. She sighed with disapointment as she reluctantly turned and shuffled back inside. Well, atleast I have acouple more things to pack, and then I'll be able to go and play. She thought with abit of childishness, her eyes gleaming in anticipation.

Tristan jumpped up into the sky spreading his wings happily floating along slowly after the rest of the group. He was in no hurry to get there and liked to enjoy the sights.

Chanae hurried with impatience with herself, grabbing just acouple more things before shoving them into her bag.
Ugh, why do I have to be so late all the time? It's like the universe wants me to miss the important stuff.. She grumbled in her mind, grabbing her bag and running towards the door at full speed, her snow white wings tucked neatly behind her back. As she bursted through the door, her wings suddenly swept open with a swooooosh. She lept into the air at that instant, her wings beating heavily against the air, easily picking her off the ground. She cheered in relief, swirling and looping in the air.
Finally! She thought, excitement and happiness the only thing in her mind.
She pumped her wings for acouple of seconds before swooping back down to the ground, stopping just infront of the door to lock it.
She then turned back around to see her family turn into tiny little dots in the distance.
I better hurry, otherwise I'll miss them completely. She sighed in frustration at herself, her wings already pumping and stretching out farther to get there before her family disapeared.

Tristan watched everyone else with amusement glancing back a few times as he waited for Chanae to catch up. He shook his head in amusement, late again. Oh well, it didn't make much difference really.

She grinned as her eyes caught sight of Tristan holding back from the group, making her pump her grey speckled wings faster. She didn't like to keep people waiting, especially not friends. As her wings started to untense, she got faster, seeing the blur that was Tristan turn into a full formed figure as she got closer and closer. " You didn't have to wait for me." She grinned as she swooped towards him, circling around him playfully.

"Well if I didn't wait for you I doubt anyone else would." Tristan countered, "Besides everyone else ks busy talking to someone other than me." He shrugged, that was the way it worked, he was just important when someone needednto be healed, the rest of the time he hung in the background. One of those people that was there but you never really noticed them. Most of the time Tristan didn't mind to much, but even he needed to socialise.

Chanae gave him a quirky smile, stopping just infront of him, her wings beating with a smooth rhythm. "Most probably not." She agreed with him. Alot of people in the flock wouldn't wait for her, she was actually glad Tristan did. "I'm sure alot of people would talk to you, you just never say hi or try to talk." She looked back to their family, who was so far off they were just a blur. "We better hurry up,they might forget us.." She looked back to tristan witha challenging grin, whipping around and shooting forward, a feather or two floating down to earth where she had been.

Tristan stopped as she paused in front of him sweeping his wings up and down easily. He shrugged, "Maybe." He replied softly hjs eyes turning a darker blue for a few moments before lightening again. He laughed as she raced off, he flew after her glad his wings had been styled for speed. He caught up to her pretty quickly and grinned. "Is that the best you can do?" He asked her using the bluetooth.

"Are you kidding? I'm not even trying!" Chanae teased, her pace quickening untill she was afew feet ahead. She laughed in amusement as she looked back at Tristan, shouting over the wind. "You look like you've tired yourself out already! Want to stop, Trissy?" She snickered at her usual nickname for him, her pale blue eyes gleaming in humour. She looked back to see she was catching up to the group, relief shown on her face as she beat her wings harder.
