Jewel laughed, "Oh, it's fine, you're arm was just cold." she stated and flew upside down.

"Hm?" Taro rubbed his arm for a moment and realized it was sorta cold. "Guess that happens when I fly. The only part of me that stays pretty warm are my wings, since they're doing most of the work." He smiled over to Jewel and began to mimic her by also flying upside down.

Jewel sighed and wrapped her wings around her body, laying weightlessly on his body. She panted softly, her wing muscles weren't even fully developed.

"Are you alright?" Taro asked her curiously and placed a hand on her forehead, thinking that she was sick or something. "You're not that warm..." He wasn't sure if it was because his hands were sorta warm so it didn't appear as though she had a fever, or if he was just overreacting about it. He tried to keep his wing beats a bit even, so he flew along much more smoothly through the air.

Jewel chuckled, "I'm fine, my wings muscles aren't fully developed yet..." she stated.

"Oh. How long does it take for them to develop then? Sorry if it's a stupid sounding question." Taro wasn't quite sure. For as long as he could remember, he could fly. But, part of his past had been erased from his mind from when he was just a young boy. He was sure that was when his wings were rather weak.

Jewel shrugged, "I dunno." she stated and sighed.

"Eh, give it a few months and I'm sure you can fly for however long you want," Taro said to her in an assuring tone as he playfully ruffled up her hair. "If anything, I could just carry you when you get tired. How's that?"

Jewel smiled, "Sounds cool, thanks." she stated and started to fix her hair.

"Oh you're welcome. I'm sure you knew I'd do anything for you," Taro said as he watched her fix up her hair. "Sorry. Anyway, I'll still give Denver that hug and call him my buddy, just for laughs." He still hated the boy's guts for some reason, and he was sure that Denver didn't like him all that much either.
