He nodded growling softly as doors slammed and footsteps neared the doors to the back.Kovu held Saphira in his arms tightly not letting go of her.

She started to shake in fear, she whimpered softly. She heard the footsteps nearing as she closed her eyes shut and clung to him as if her life depended on it.

Kovu growled wrapping them in shadows hiding in the darkness.He moved back further from the door as it cracked open letting faint sunlight filter in cold air followed in a small gust making him shiver slightly.It had been growing colder out latly so they must be somewhere up north if the air was this cold arleady

She shivered slightly from the cold. She bit her lip to stay quiet as she shrank away from the faint light. She pressed her body against him as he backed them away from the door.

he kissed her head reasuringly.As they opened the door wider trying to locate them in the dark.

She shrank away even farther from the door. She mentally smacked herself as a whimper escaped her lips. She clung to her mate, refusing to let go, knowing they would eventually find them.

A few people climbed in trying to find them Kovu stood up picking Saphira up as well in his arms.He quietly slipped past one and opened his wings slowly ducking to avoid hitting one guy with them as he leaped out of the truck and took off carring her he heard shouts as they figured out what the sudden whoosh of air was but he had gained to much hight and speed to stop now.
