"Yes sir" Jordan walked over, his breath was fast, along with his heart. Chain followed but was again a little unsure of the other dogs and stayed at Jordan's heels. Jordan wrapped the end of the leash around his hand to keep it from dragging. He was aware of his dogs shy behavior, one thing he had missed while training his K9 buddy was to be all right with other dogs, it was now changing the border collies behavior.

Mo walked Fancy That into a kennel where. She let the Mudi rest, even if it didn't really want to. James followed at Mo's side eager for the attention he had lost since Mo took on the job of training Blue. Mo walked up and stood beside Jordan, it was a chance to do something. James had his normal limp as he used his shorter leg, it was too short to be normal, but it was long enough for the dog to use, which James did.

Returning her glare with one his own, Leo pulled both of his hands onto the table. Lobo leaned forward slightly, eyes narrowed and lips curled. "Well, Sgt. Campbell not stupid either." he replied, "Since that's out of the way, who sent you for reconnaissance here?" Normally, one of the dogs would've smelled her, but the damn humidity took a toll on even the most seasoned scent hound.

Tazz looked at the two. "Alright, numbers don't matter with this job. Now, we need to get some patrols going around the base. So, you two are coming with me." he spoke loudly, with confidence. Lager panted at his side, leash loose and dangling. Without another word, he did an about face and started toward the edge of camp.

Qui said,"Captain." She stood and something fell from her pocket, a picture. She quickly stooped down and grabbed it, not wanting to let the American see it. She put it carefully back in her pocket and started to pace along the walls, quite obviously getting bored. She asked quickly,"What reconnaissance? Qui never heard it." She scratched at the back of her head as she paced.

"Yes sir" Mo said and followed behind with James happily at her side, his tong hanging out as he panted. the heat seemed to be taking it's toll on everyone. Mo's forehead was wet with sweat and James seemed to be taking every chance to walk in the shade.

Jordan came at the back, Chain kind of lingering behind him but the dog soon felt more comfertable with the other dogs and sped up a little. Jordan felt a little sorry for his dog who had rather long fur which didn't help with the heat.

Leo grinned. "Recon. Gathering information or intelligence. Recon is short-term intelligence gathering." he replied, asking yet another question, "Captain who?" Lobo softened slightly, eyes narrowed and muscles tensed. Leo reached a hand down to pat her. "At ease girl." he whispered to her.

Tazz grabbed ahold of his rifle, Lager's leash around his wrist, the shepherd's muscles were tense and she was on high alert. He murmured softly to her, but had no success in getting her to relax a bit. She knew what could happen out here, even around base camp. Her last handler had been killed this way.

Dai, unafraid to get dirty, scrambled up a taller tree, eyes wide. He looked down, surprised to see that he was closer to the camp than he'd anticipated. Holding his breath, he saw a patrol of several Americans pass beneath the tree he was in.

(Trying to create some drama. xD)

Qui snapped,"Captain Anh Dung." Lies, it had been her father's name. She grabbed her chair and lifted it partially, wanting to hit somebody with it. She glared at him, and crossed her arms. "Lucky Qui not have gun, American." She said it as if it were poison or if he was worth less than mud on the bottom of her boots.

Roz finished her laps after the majority of the recruits, but not last. At first her morning-stiff muscles had been reluctant to move but after a hundred or so yards had stopped protesting.
She slicked back the fine tendrils of hair that hand escaped her braid and allowed her lungs to suck in oxygen.
She heard the Sergeant with unfortunate aim call for volenteers but decided that volenteering for who knows what on her first day wasn't the best idea. Instead she began to size up her fellow recruits.

Chain started barking with a great sound, unfortunately it was a really bad time for him to bark. Jordan tried to shush the dog but it was to no use, he didn't want trouble coming. Chain kept barking, the border collie pacing in circles as Jordan wouldn't let him off the leash.

James started pacing, he was uneasy with Chain's barking but didn't let it get to him too much. Mo calmed the curly coated retriever down and pulled her gun out as she looked around, the only sound she could here was the border collies barking.

Jordan looked at Mo and Tazz with a sorry look as he tried again to quieten his dog. "I'm sorry sir" Jordan apologized and slipped his hands over Chain's muzzle, Chain stopped barking.

Blitz heard Sergeant Maytaz call for people, and gratefully slunk away. Better to go do some work than get caught standing around by Rick, whom was already on the verge of killing him. The private slipped behind them, Spirit loping besides him. The german shepherd had a spring in her step and was panting from excitement, but the unfamiliar humidity was obviously taking a toll on both her and her handler. Blitz wiped his brow and walked along, absent minded. He wondered what had happened to the Vietnamese girl. Wincing, he wondered if she'd tell them how he couldn't shoot her. He'd brought in an enemy, so why did he feel like such a guilty coward?

Rick spit on the ground and sat down on a rusty barrel. Delta sat alertly besides him. The lieutenant watched as Private Zousier walked off with that idiot dog of his, and scowled a little. If that kid didn't get himself or the whole company killed in a week, he'd be shocked.
Ignoring an especially itchy mosquito bite on his neck, he began to head towards HQ. A flash of red-gold hair caught the corner of his vision.
"Private Black! You look like you need something to do!" Rick shouted, trying hard to keep a smirk off his face, "Or where you headed somewhere?"

Shilo mumbled curses as he pulled Pike's head backwards and pried open his mouth.
"Drop it! Drop it, Pike!" He finally managed to wretch the object out of his dog's jaws. It appeared to be some kind of rotten fruit.
"Bad dog! This could be poisonous, you know." Shilo chucked it into a trashcan and wiped his hand off on the side of a tent. Shilo was feeling weirdly overprotective of his dog lately. All the horror stories of jungle diseases and the Vietcong offering money for the ears of American dogs freaked him out. Charlie was NOT going to get his dog, that was for sure!

Tazz glanced back, grinning understandingly at Jordan. Lager bared her teeth at the Collie, feeling snappy. Hush, please, before you get us killed. He lifted the machine gun a bit higher, hearing Blitz jog up behind them. 'Alright, looks pretty clear, but God. This place creeps me out...' he thought warily, raising his eyes to the trees.

Leo crossed his arms. "I wonder if Lieutenant Hanson would have any better luck. Raise a chair at him and you'd dead faster than you can say American." he spoke crossly, biting back some very rude words. Lobo twitched slightly, eyes mistrusting of the girl.

Dai heard the barking and clenched his jaw, hard. Stupid American dog. Why on Earth did they use them, anyway? Geez, they were annoying. He looked down, hoping the dog hadn't smelled him. If he messed up, his father would murder him
