And just so you know rowdy, after formation is dismissed, Tazz can go do something else if he wants... after all, he's not required to be there since he's not a new recruit. E.x. interrogate Qui or something (just an idea, cause Blitz will soon have to leave her to go to formation) Unless he's there to help train them
Everybody else has to stick with Rick *mwahaha*
Oh, and sorry for randomness, but I the only one unable to read Lager's name and not hear it in an Irish accent? LOL
recap:
It is early morning.
All new recruits, and some of the other soldiers, too, have lined up at formation.
Rick is currently screaming at Roz and Taz.
The only 2 people not at formation are Qui and Blitz. Blitz is a soldier who accidentally ran into Qui, a Viet Cong. They had a scuffle, then Qui's gun jammed, so Blitz brought her back to camp. They just got at camp))
Delta let out an angry bark at Lager, his canines snapping shut just centimeters from her nose. Shut up, idiot!
"I didn't think so." Rick hissed, his voice dripping with a sinister smugness, "But just to make sure, ten laps around base. Now. That ought to wipe the smirks off your faces."
His gaze shot to Tazz, Mo, Jordan and Shilo, "And I mean all of you dirtbags."
((Heh. Rick's always a complete butthead on the first days... he likes to scare the crap out of them and instil a healthy fear))
Shilo also froze up in horror as Rick swung towards Roz. He felt really bad for her. That guy was.. scary, to say the least. But he also felt angry. Of course Roz didn't think soldiers getting killed was funny! He would have said something only, Rick had already spoken. 10 laps? Shilo groaned silently. Oh, well. At least he didn't make it 20... knock on wood. And really, he felt worse for Roz. He hoped the guys wouldn't give her crap for this. It wasn't really her fault, just that stuck up lieutenant's. Pike whined a little when he tug lightly on his leash, seeing the commotion going on with Delta and Lager. But when he started jogging, the german shepherd turned and matched his stride.
The soldier frowned and glanced at Blitz, "Where's her gun, private?"
"In the jungle. Back there, not far. Trust me, she was speaking english earlier..." Blitz replied quickly, getting a little nervous. He could see the game the girl was trying to play. She was going to portray herself as a poor little citizen taken captive by an idiotic draftee! Did she honestly think they would believe her?
The soldier glanced at the girl then back at him, "Wait a minute- you're new here, aren't you? You should be at formation. I'll take her."
Blitz nodded, a twinge in his stomach when he realized how late he was. Surely he wouldn't get in trouble for capturing an enemy. "Yessir." He shot one last glare at the Viet Cong then jogged off towards the mess hall. The soldier tightened his grip on the girl's arm and dragged her into head quarters.
Rick narrowed his eyes at a rather scrawny soldier with a dog loping up to him. Ah, yes. He knew one was missing!
"Where have you been, Private? What's your name?" he barked.
The soldier seemed to muster his courage, "Blitz Zousier, sir. I'm sorry for being late, Lieutenant, I took my dog to do her business and we ran into a-"
Rick quickly lost his patience, "I don't have time for your crap story, soldier! 15 laps around base!"
"But-"
"MAKE IT 20!" he snarled.
Blitz's face fell but he didn't dare speak up a second time, "Yessir."
