Isaiah held Noah's hand as he followed Qux, "Hunter blood? Are we gonna hunt or something?" Noah asked, sniffing at the air and catching faint traces of the blood.

Sitka smiled, so glad to hear her say it to him one more time. "I love you too..." he said softly, "Now what does the bastard who attacked you look like? I want to go rip his gut's out and hang him with them." He said, a bit of humor in his voice.
