Calypso crawled next to Alissa, staying out of sight since she was small and she curled up in a little ball and fell asleep, which Alissa smiled and pet her.

Dexter thought for a moment, he hadn't taken any real interest in humans, so he really had no clue except that they had to eat, since they would scamper over to the grocery store. "About the only thing I know about them is that they have to eat sometime.. I guess." he shrugged stiffly, taking a quick glance at the sky, it was cloudy as usual and there wasn't many humans out and about. As he drifted more and mor einto thought, Dex's eyes darted back to Carter, then over to where he'd just been. The young girl he'd followed, she was different...but how? Her presence? No.. Looks? No.. Maybe just how she tried to block him out, that was interesting. Shaking off those thoughts once more, he gazed at Carter.

Evelyn sat on a bench near the forest, completely oblivious to the world around her. She was looking at a book, her eyes moving rapidly across the pages. The book was large, with yellowing pages and a dusty, old cover. It was titled The Elements and in smaller letters underneath, 'Fire, water, earth, air' She must have been reading something interesting, because she was leaning forward in that 'Wow, that's so amazing!' sort of way.
