Quil stopped by his house and bent down for her to climb off.


Bella bit her lip nervously and looked down at her lap in shame. She nodded gently, not bothering to look up as she knew she would not be able to look Charlie in the eyes.

Sam smiled and held the shell on the palm of his hand. "Whats this for?" he asked.

Avery climbed off. "Where am I...?" she wondered.

"Being awesome," Leah replied.

Quil grunted softly and took a few steps backwards. He hoped she wouldn't follow and ran round the back of his house. He phased quickly and ran inside. He pulled on some underware and a pair of denim shorts before running back out the back. He tookin a deep breath and slowly walked back round to the front.


Cassie screwed her face up a bit. "So tell me Paul. Why are you beng so nice to me? I don't get it." she asked finally.

Bella looked up "Dad?" she whispered, her voice wavering slightly.

Charlies face starts to return to its normal color, a pale-snow white. "How long?" he said in a very low whisper.

"And i like you too your a nice guy. But what has that got to do with why your being so nice?" she asked not yet understanding.
