The pup got back on his hind legs and asumed a begging posture. He looked up at the queen with big eyes, and gave another yawn.

Ele looked around, she had knocked the guard unconcious to keep him from creating a commotion. Jumping down silently and keeping to the shadows Ele snuck around the edge of the wall not being seen being seen by anyone.

The queen smiled and picked him up, turning around and climbing up the spiral stairs towards her bedroom.

The pup curled up in the queens arms. He was very tired and in the back of his mind he wondered what his mom was doing. Oh well he thought, this is totally worth the scolding.

Ele caught a glance of her pup before the queen picked him up and took him away. Two guards stationed themselves on either side of the door the the queen had just gone through. Ele could have picked them off easly but she did not want to risk her pups safety in fighting off the guards. Climbing stealthly up the side of the castle Ele searched for an open window to enter.

The queen reached her room and stepped inside. She set the pup down in a cozy chair by the fire and covered it with a small blanket. She smiled and sat down on her bed, taking clips out of her hair, looking in the mirror.

Sleeping peacefully even before the queen set him down in the chair the pup gave a contented sigh. He was pleasently warm wrapped up in some big soft thing.

Ele finally found a window that had been left open. Looking inside she saw the queen who had her back to the window. Glancing around Ele saw he pup sleeping in a chair by the fire. Looking back at the queen Ele looked at her through the mirror.

(G2G, be back later.)

The queen noticed Ele and gasped. "S-sorry." She stuttered. Her hair fell down to it's normal length as she removed the last clip and stood up. She picked up the pup and took the blanket off of him. "This pup must be yours then. I just saw him, and he looked a bit tired, so...." She hesitated, and then held out her arms towards Ele, the pup in them.

Argia had been following the queen unnoticed. She watched the queen and pup, thinking it wasn't a good idea. She followed the queen in to her chanmbers. Coming out of the shadows, she stood next to her. "Set the pup down, and stand far away," she told the queen quietly
It's lonely to be more powerful than any man you know and have to live like a shadow. To be special and have to pretend you're a fool. You feel trapped. Like your whole life has been planned out for you and you have no control over anything, and sometimes you don't even know if what destiny decided is...really the best thing at all.

The queen glanced at her and said, "Why would I? I was only helping the poor pup. Wandered away from its mother, looked awfully tired, it did."

"Take a look at the mother, she is no dog. She climbed in through your window," she told her. Idiot! her mind hissed. "Put the pup down and step away," she said again with some force. She watched the mother
