I close my eye as I stop outside of the park gates, my body feeling heavy and hot. My breathing huffed and was dragging me down. I put my hand over my heart, on my knees in the ground. My mind feels blank as try to breath easier.

Shay noticed Kira's blush and grinned to herself. Personally, she didn't know who she preferred; they were both cute in their own way. She wasn't even sure if either of them were The One, and going out with someone you just met was never a good idea. They always ended up as your best friend of the other gender.

When Kira saw where Shay was pointing her eyes grew wide. She blushed slightly and walked over with her new found friend towards the two people. The red headed boy was just standing there, but it was the one next to him that really caught her attention. He was cute, she admitted to herself sheepishly... and then shook her head trying to clear the thought away. He had that air about him that made her want to turn right around and walk away, but oddly enough she wanted to also go over to him and introduce herself as well. Kira stood slightly behind Shay when they stopped, smiling shyly.

After she handed me the book, I didn't knwo what to do. Should I look inside it or keep it for safe keeping. After I hear her words, I nod my head, thinking to myself. Okay, be cool tomorow. Nah, just be yourself. My thoughts fought eachother like demon and angel. I decide that I'll just be myself, like how I am around Dylan and Kit. Hey...where are they? Oh yeah, they had to go help Kit's mom cook.

My I leaned against the brick wall near the group of four, surprised that they didn't notice me. I have leukemia, a bone marrow disease when, immature, white blood cells crowd out the red cells. If I run too much, roll, whatever, my leukemia catches up to me and makes me have to go to the hospital. That's why I'm always with Kit and Aaron, but I wasn't today and no one could stop me from going down the hill. The clock hanging around my neck is also a medicine locket and I put my medicince in it. I reach for my locket and pull out the last bit of medicine until I get home. I plop the medicine in my moth and swollow the small pill, hoping that I don't need water. I don't.
