Christopher ran a hand through his hair and nodded. "Very good, but I don't mean to brag. I actually only sing to myself and others real close to me. That narrows it down to.. Two people." he sighed and crossed his arms on the table. He leaned towards her just an inch, trying to keep his breath as shallow as possible.

Carter laughed and looked down. "You know?" she asked. "There's something different about you." she told him, looking into his eyes. She smiled warmly, then looked down and blushed. "I'm sorry." she said, she had leaned forward to look into his eyes and now noticed it, but she didn't lean back.

Gabriel smirked in amusement at the thought of something as mundane as cigarettes killing him. "i don't think I'll be dying anytime soon" he stated, taking another drag from the cigarette. He paused when Jack asked him the question, staring at the cigarette clutched loosely between two fingers. "Three years I suppose, give or take a few months"

He'd started when he was thirteen; it was a good escape back then. He could leave his parent's house for a few hours and pick up cigarettes from the older boys in the nearest town. He'd go to hide in the woods beside his house and manage to smoke one or two cigarettes before he was found by one of the servants and brought back home.

Gabriel shivered and wrapped one arm around his chest, crossing the other one over it and taking another drag. He watched Jack out of the corner of his eye, still smiling.

Christopher closed his eyes for a moment and leaned back against his seat. Control yourself. Smile. Be nice. He smiled at her, his eyes glinting hungrily. He stood up, hearing the bell ring. "I have P.E. next. I can skip it though. Want to come with me?" Chris asked eagerly, waiting impatiently for an answer. He caught himself staring at her neck again. Stop! he turned away from her and pushed his chair in. "Want to come?" he asked, still turned away from her.

Carter thought for the moment, then laughed. "I've already made a horrible first-impression." she told him. "I don't think it could get very worse." And so she got up and went to stand next to Chris, her head only reaching his shoulders. "Where to?" she asked, the trill leaking into her voice. Mom is going to kill you! her common sence tried to tell her, but she shut it up and smiled at Chris. What could go wrong? she asked.

Lexi slipped into her jacket, then jumped slightly when she heard someone. "Uh.. yeah." She smiled a bit, "I don't learn anything when I am in the class anyways, it's just a waste of time, plus I fall asleep all the time." She zipped up her jacket and pulled on the hood, she looked at the girl for a minute. She wasn't sure who she was, or why she was talking to her, but she didn't mind. "What about you? I mean, are you skipping too, not are you learning anything." She shoved her hands in her pockets, which were full of useless things, some spare change, a packet of gum. She pulled out a stick of gum and unwrapped it, sticking the minty gum into her mouth.

Ethan sighed, he was still walking through the hallways in search of his books, still. "I swear I left them right here.." He mumbled, then turned around and starting searching in that direction. After a while he gave up, his class was over by now, somebody must've taken his books, he decided, not wanting to admit he'd lost them. It was lunch now, but he wasn't hungry, seeing as he had just woken up. He barely ever ate lunch at school, anyways, he didn't really like it, school food was just gross. He walked towards the front doors of the school, he needed some fresh air. He still felt kind of dizzy from vomiting, so he pushed open the doors and leaned against the wall of the school building, groaning every now and then because his stomach hurt.

Christopher cleared his throat and nodded towards the hallway. "I just need to get some fresh air." Before I kill you. He fought for a smile and grabbed onto her wrist. He felt her pulse under her skin and smiled, finally giving to temptation. "You know what? I think it'd be better if we hid out on the field. There's no one there to catch us ditching." Chris said, already dragging her through the hallway and out the front door. He stopped at the field and looked around, seeing no one but a few other students.

Carter started to freak out once he grabbed her wrist. She considered her opptions real quick, and slapped his arm with as much force as she could handle. It hurt and she almost broke out screaming. But her lungs weren't working right, so all she could do was whisper, "Ow!" painfully and shake her wrist that was not held be Cris. I can't believ he's doing this! she screamed at herself inside her head.

Christopher blinked and looked back at her curiously. Really? He narrowed his eyes and let her go. "What am I doing?" he whispered quietly before taking a step away from her. "You should leave." he said, his voice low. He waited a moment before taking another step away from her. You look like an idiot. One part of his mind said to him. I think I nailed the idiot part when I pulled her from the cafeteria. he sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.

Carter sucked on her finger, and looked at him. Despite her anger and fear, she still felt bad. "What's wrong?" she asked, pulling out her finger and shaking it up and down. She did, however, take part of his warning into consideration, and she took a big step back, then started at him with her big eyes, waiting for an answer.
