Whitesparrow wrote:"Fine whatever, come in." Joey said coldly, still facing away from the door.
Katt rubbed her eyes and looked up at him. "N-no... I'm fine." She said, her face turning red again. She went to stand up, but as soon as she put pressure down on her ankle she fell over with a yelp of pain. It was definitely sprained.
Syiren rubbed her hand but just sat back and looked away. "S-sorry...." She said quietly, and backed up so her back was against the couch. She sighed and pulled her knees back up to her chest. Looking down at the floor, silently, a very sad look in her eyes. I guess he doesn't like me back then... She thought to herself. She put her hand up to her new pet Kestrel, Taka, and he climbed onto her fingers. She smiled a bit, and pulled him close to her, petting his neck gently with one finger.
Zoe opened the door gently and peeked her head in. She sat down on his bed and looked down at him. "Wanna tell me why you're acting like a 5 year old?" she asked jokingly. She knew why he was upset, and she accepted that, but that didn't excuse him from acting like a child. "You know I let him in because he deserves a second chance. If he acts up, even the tiniest bit, I'll kick him out on the spot." she said and pulled the hair out of his eyes.
"No, you aren't fine, Katt." he said. "Looks like I need to carry you home. Come on." he said and bent down to her level. He lifted her up gently, not wanting to hurt her ankle anymore. "Is this okay?" he asked, looking at her and her red cheeks, then smiled.
And even though she moved away,
We always get calls from our daughter.
She has eyes just like her father,
They are blue when skies are grey.
And just like him she never stops;
Never takes the day for granted.
Works for everything that's handed to her;
Never once complained...
