After Skye was done writing, she shut her diary, put the pen away, and glanced around, looking for a good place to put it. After a moment of hesitation, she stuck in the pillowcase on her bed, and flipped the pillow around where you couldn't see the book. That was as good a place as any, right?
Skye pulled out some colored pencils and a notepad. She wanted to just be alone and go draw right now.
Skye walked up to the window, opened it, climbed out, and carefully slid it shut. She unfurled her wings, letting herself fall for a brief moment before flapping her wings and soaring above the roof. After a moment, she sat down on the roof and started to idly sketch.
(Don't feel bad yet, it's part of the plot. You can feel bad when you're done reading the diary and Skye finds out.
