Gina resisted a yawn. "I'm good with whatever Voltage."

"So tree or sand?" Voltage asked again, leaving the decision up to her.

[Cap'n Rose]

"Tree." Gina smiled slightly.

"Okay then," Voltage said, snuffing out the fire with sand and marking where the pit was. He walked over to the tree and flew into it, waiting for Gina.

Gina flew over, still slightly off balance, but she landed next to him okay and gently sat in his lap.

Voltage moved his legs so she could sit on the tree and not on him. "Sorry, but I'd rather you not sleep fully on me, you know?" he apologized, wrapping his arms around her and leaning back, pulling the Rito with him.

Gina smiled. "It's fine. As long as you're here beside me, I'm fine." Gina blushed, barely visible int eh darkness.

Voltage smiled as Gina's head relaxed against his chest. "So," he whispered to her, "There anything you want to talk about while we're alone?"

Gina smiled. "Not that I can think of at the moment. You?"

Voltage smiled. "There's nothing you want to ask me, Gina? I know there's a thousand things I want to ask you, but you go first if you have any questions; I won't be offended by any."
