Sierra quietly sat below one of the tall trees, leaning her back against the rough bark at the base of the trunk. She let out an oddly, content sounding sigh. She was happy that if they had to be on an island for a few days-or at least she hoped they would only be there for a short period of time-at least it was somewhere pretty.
Hesitantly, she glances over at her shoulder, only to see that the tourniquet made out of a strip of fabric was now covered in blood. She let out another sigh, now beginning to feel lightheaded. She wasn't sure if it was from blood loss or simply the sight of the blood, but she knew it probably wasn't good. But she didn't want to worry Jeremy, so she knew it would probably be best to simply ignore it for the time being.
She quietly leaned her head back against the tree trunk and stared at the sky, or at least the parts of it she could see through the thick tree tops.
