Haji scoffed. "Right. I told you that if it came around Id be the one to take care of it, but you got involved anyway." the man growled, upset over her lack of listening skills. The collar was humming, hot against the skin on his neck as it continued to suck his energy and will to fight with the vampire over the matter.

"That's because I'd rather deal with a bit of physical pain now than have to worry about you getting locked away for good because I couldn't protect you! You've been protecting me all this time, Haji, you've done your best to keep me out of harms way and make sure I was safe! But it's my turn to protect you, you can't keep fighting or else things are going to end badly!" Roxy finally shouted, her face a burning red color as she strained her pained lungs and chest.
The vampire then turned away swiftly, storming up the stairs and into her room. She bit her lip hard and finally doubled over, coughing furiously as speckles of crimson painted her hand. She breathed sharply and winced, trying to ease the pain away into the back of her mind but being less than successful this time around. She cursed quietly under her breath and leaned against the door.


Dark smirked softly as Kuroi rested against his person, gently holding her close. Ah, what a perfect day~!

Haji watched Roxy storm off after she was done screaming at him. He didnt really have a com back to her argument. She was right. If he kept pushing the envelope, it was bound to tear at some point. The Chevalier left the damaged kitchen to find Cheshire and offer that they move to the new house until his could be repaired.

Roxy gritted her teeth and moved into the bathroom, turning on the shower. She quickly slipped in and winced as the warm liquid pelted her sensitive skin. She gripped her broken arm painfully and watched as blood seeped from the wound continuously. "D*mn.. I overdid it..." She muttered before a cough wracked her lungs again, causing her to trembled painfully.

Haji finished talking to Cheshire before he headed upstairs. As he did so, his nose picked up on the smell of blood. He tilted his head. Had Roxy gotten hurt? Well of course she had. She may have been tough in her argument, but she sucked at masking her pain. The chevalier ventured over to the smell, curious. He heard the shower running, so he knocked. "Are you alright?" he asked.

Roxy blinked and looked up, hearing Haji at the door. She forcible suppressed the agonizing cough so she could reply without him being suspicious. "I'm-I'm fine." She replied, though her voice was shaky. She cursed herself for being horrible at lies and masking emotions. You'd think she'd at least pick up a couple tricks in her three hundred and fifty years of life...

Haji didn't believe her for a second. "I hope youre still dressed, Im coming in to see your wounds." the chevalier informed, giving her a minute to gather herself if possible.

Roxy blinked, hearing Haji's words. "Wait-What? N-no! Stay out!" She ordered, still able to muster up a furious blush even while hurting so much. Though she quickly had to suppress another painful cough. She grumbled to herself, wondering if maybe she had a broken rib and it was puncturing her lung or something. It certainly felt that way and with her luck it was always a posibility.

Cheshire, thankfully, had moved the roses before the basilisk had attacked. He grumbled at how the repairs were going to take forever and sighed heavily.

Basilisk returned to his spot were karl was at seeing the chevalier still there. He snorted and shook his head before slithering over to him. His right eye was closed but ws covered in blood along with his right fang.

Kuroi stood there quietly, content with where she was.

Ah, it was so peaceful and quiet here. It was relaxing.
