Jewel looked at Jay, "It wants to kill me Jay! I want to grow up and watch River and Kaylen and get married and have my own kids!" she cried and hugged Taro. That's all she seemed to focus on, family, probably because she never had any and she loved the twins.

Taro cringed and hugged Jewel tightly. He didn't really want to let her go, but his grip was loose enough for her to slip away if she wanted to. "I don't know why it wants you of all people," he said with a frown. He just wished it went after some human instead of Jewel. "I wouldn't be able to live with myself if you perished, Jewel. Especially by my own hand."

Kaylan looked confused as they were put down but spotted Jewel and squealed ''Momma!'' Waving her hands excitedly.

"I know Jewel. Please, the kids are right outside. Take them into my room. Lock the door. Only you or I can get in there," He said calmly. He looked at Taro. "We have to change your desire, now. Think! What else have you wanted recently?" He asked.

"But, I don't want it to change. Jewel's the only one I love," Taro whimpered as he dropped his arms. "Can my new desire be an object? I'll force myself to love it, just so I won't keep attacking Jewel." He didn't want to mention Mia at all. What Denver said about humans still rang through his head.

Jewel looked really worked up but hung onto Taro like her life depended on it. The reluctanly let go of him and walked outside, she picked up both kids and put then in Jay's room. She locked the door.

"I don't know, this demonis strong, so probably not. It could even be a brotherly or fatherly love. Think!" Jayson said. He looked at Taro with a yearning need to tell him to go gay or something.

River caught the yawn 'bug' and yawned. He looked at his sister and yawned again. "Mommy!" River said stubbornly.
