(Is the island out in sea? Also brace for longness. :3)
Kari sighed deeply, staring out into the shining blue depths of the Sea. Seagulls chirped loudly overhead, and the sea breeze rolled in as the ship plowed through the waves crashing into the hull. The sun shone brightly as ever, shining through the clouds.
'Why couldn't everyday be like this?' The girl thought to herself, dangling her hands over the railing.
"Madam, we're almost there. Only 6 minutes until we arrive." A gruff voice broke the girl out of her thoughts.
"Thank you." She replied back, staring uneasily at a bulky man as he walked away to the other side of the boat.
The sun was shining, the birds were chirping-- what could go wrong?
The island started to appear, slowly as a dot in the horizon before beginning to slowly loom over the ship. Closer and closer the ship came to the island, until it finally neared land. The girl stared in awe at the island, unaware of the men creeping up on her.
'The island is beautiful! I'm going to spend two weeks here?!' She payed a small sum of money-- this seemed like it was worth much, much more. But before she could wonder about that, the men grabbed her and one clamped a hand over her mouth.
"L-Let me go! UNHAND ME THIS INSTANT!" The girl cried, muffled by the hand. Chomping down, she sunk her teeth into the disgusting flesh.
"SHE BIT ME!" The man cried, grabbing his hand and yelling in agony.
"Serves you right, you leeche-" She was cut off as she was thrown over the boat by the other man, who happened to pause for a moment before assisting, watching his teammate hop around in agony with amusement.
A string of curses escaped from her mouth as she flailed among the waves, trying her best to swim the few feet that separated her from shore. Time flew by instantly, one minute she was flailing amongst the roaring waves, and then the next she was lying in the rough and hard sand, peering up at the sky.
"Thanks for the money! Don't even bother trying to call the police, you have no phones or electricity!" She heard in the distance as the man held up her suitcase and waved at her, laughing as the ship slowly rode off. Well, there goes all the money she was going to buy souvenirs with.
'...I'm screwed...'
