The silver dragon hatchling leaned in to her touch and set it frehead in her hand with a tiny happy grumble.

Izzy scooped it up gently, and set it in her lap, wrapped in her jacket. She rubbed its nose gently, still cooing.

The tiny hatchling circled in her jacket before clawing it's way up to her shoulder and nesting itself in her hood. He set his head resting on her shoulder and looked to her with big grey eyes.

Crossroads swooped down and softly landed, laying down for easy dismount. Dez sat up and looked around.

Zephyr slid down, then held out his arms to catch Dez with that same silly grin. "so, still think i can ride?" he said

Dez laughed and jumped down into his arms "you're alright, but then again you're probably used to Flaming Heart.." she grinned.

Izzy smiled, and patted it gently. "We should probably get you back to the school." She said, picking up the remainder of eggshell and placing it in her bag. "Ready, Kila?" She asked.

The tiny hatchling yawned and nestled itself right in the crook of her neck.

Zephyr put his arm around Dez and laughed. "well, it helps when she is so loyal." he looked at the sky and nodded. "we best finish packing. the mission will start soon."

"I believe I'm pretty much finished packing.." Dez grinned. Crossroads laid down, watching them with amuzed, intellegent eyes.
