Dez smiled, reading his expression and knowing what he was thinking. She poked his belly then glanced at Rosa then back Zephyr "so you talked to Flaming Heart right? About taking Rosa with you two due to Crossroads not being able to carry her, the double saddle, and other crap we loaded in the saddle pack, and me and Josh..."

"Yeah, dont worry bout that! she may be old, but she is still more spry then meets the eye!" Zephyr said, ruffling his hair

Crossroads chuckled "she's not that old, I'm probably older than her."
Dez rolled her eyes at Crossroads "good.." she turned to finish adjusting the handmade saddle then stood back to admire her work. "Crossroads...you've gotten fat."

Zephyr grinned. "yeah, real husky." he walked up and poked him in the belly

"Hey Zephyr, ment to ask ya this, what do you think of my saddle? Made it myself." Dez said, patting the brown leather double saddle.

Zephyr examined it a moment, then smiled. "it is quite well made! that bronze is perfect strength to hold the weight, and the leather is perfect!"

Dez smiled proudly "it suits its purpose as well as being perdy." She looked from the saddle to him and grinned broadly "wanna try it out yourself?"
Crossroads studied the two, but said nothing.

Zephyr smiled. "you betcha!"

Dez smiled, Crossroads laid down so they could get on, "you can take my seat, the front one." She smiled and motioned to the saddle.

Zephyr slung himself up easily into the saddle. the leather was soft and comfortable, and the saddle could clearly hold much more than he first thought.
