Julio Maestas

Julio had just turned from looking out the window to see that Emily had dozed off. Wondering if he should put a coat on her or something, but perhaps that would be a bit intimate? Settling for just turning the iPod off, he was about the grab the device and turn it off when she woke, and he snatched his hand back. "Ha, si, si." Julio said, averting his gaze. She will think I try to take iPod...? he wondered, seeing as how suspicious he looked.

{emily | fitzgerald}
{america | seventeen | aquatics}

Emily looked curiously at Julio as he moved his hand away, trying to wonder what had crossed his mind. Despite that, she couldn't imagine him having any foul intentions. She was a sweet girl, and her ground zero was that everyone was just as nice as her. She didn't defy this rule unless they showed her true malice. Even then, though, no grudges would be held. She thought it was a nice thing to do - and it was. But it also led her to be lied to and betrayed. She pushed things aside with her ever bright attitude, though, and did her best to simply live. "So, when's your game at?" she asked, changing the subject from silence to sports.
At least it was something they could both relate to. "I actually should check my schedule, porque no tengo any idea."
She grimaced, knowing the split-language sentence was almost definitely wrong, but, just as Julio, she had tried.

:II Kohaku II:

Kohaku said nothing for a few minutes, then let out a soft breath of air. It might be him, but the possibilities were saying otherwise. "Arigato Rin-kun." He whispered. He looked up at the sound of music and glanced around, spotting the girl easily, her guitar sticking out. He smiled at the sound, his lips barely moving. "Are you excited about the games?" He asked Rin, mentally kicking himself for asking such a stupidly obvious question.

.+Rin Mori+.
Rin remembered the seemingly endless number of contestants back at the Opening Ceremony. How many of them would be judo fighters? She smiled at the idea of such challenge. It would be her best chance so far to know her own strength and limits, she thought, and moved her head in an ambiguous gesture that could be read both as yes and no. "Well, I'm certainly looking forward to the judo matches, that's for sure. Excited isn't the word, though. I'd say I'm curious about things will turn out," she hesitated for a moment, unsure if the slight anxiousness that she was trying to mask was being reflected in her eyes, but looked directly at Kohaku all the same. Never let anyone know you're nervous, her sensei used to tell her. "What about you? You're entering in two different disciplines after all. Must be tougher." She absently watched a flashing neon sign blur closer and then away from their window as the bus passed in front of it. They should be close to the hotel now. She had read somewhere in the official website that it was very close to the stadium and the other sport complexes.

Username: Wolf-chan
Name: Kiyoshi Oshiro
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Country: Japan
Sport: Modern pentathlon
Personality: Kiyo is similar to his twin brother. Quiet and forbidding, most tend to avoid him. But unlike Kohaku, they avoid him out of respect. Kiyo holds an air of power and leadership to him, having eyes that suggest having seen more than their fair share of the world. When you actually approach him, you realize that there's no way of becoming his friend. You can pretend, but Kiyo gave up trusting people a long time ago. The only one you can see him act himsef around is his twin brother, Kohaku.
Bio: When Kiyoshi was born, he was born in Japan. His mother was poor and his father was mute. Kiyoshi had a twin brother, Kohaku. They had a perfet, but poor life, until Kiyo turned 5. Their father and mother were murdered in front of their eyes by a street gang. Apparently, their father had tried to gamble and gain some money back so as to raise his family. But when he failed to pay back the money, the gang set out to take his life instead for payment. Orphaned and alone in Japan, Kohaku and Kiyo set out, their small minds determined to find food, shelter, and warmth. The two selted in a small seemingly abandoned building, choosing to sleep in a small closet that contained judo supplies and bows.Early in the morning, With Kohaku still sleeping, Kiyo snuck out to try and find some food for them. He could almost feel his ribs straining against his skin.
But, finding nothing to scavenge in the abandoned building, he went out into the world, guilty for going so far, but his stomach protesting. He stopped by a small grocery store and he walked through, acting nonchalent. He skimmed through the isles, then shrugged, sighing. He left and walked down the street and into an alleyway. Once there, he pulled out the food he had five fingered from his pockets and began to eat. He saved some for Kohaku and made his way back towards the building, only to be side tracked as he saw a dog. It was obviously starving, but it held it's head high. Kiyoshi took pity on the dog and gave him some of the food he had left, keeping some to the side for Kohaku. On his way back though, the dog continued to follow him. It was a mutt. Huge in size and wolfish in appearance. At that point, Kiyoshi noticed that he had no idea where he was. In desperation, he continued moving, eyes searching for something, anything familiar. But nothing was. As night began to fall, Kiyoshi fell asleep in an alley way, hidden from prying eyes by some boxes and trash cans.
In the middle of the night, he felt something warm and soft lie down beside him. With a small smile, Kiyoshi fell asleep with the dog's warmth and protecting eyes in his mind.
For many days, Kiyoshi took the role of a petty thief, stealing for food and what not. The dog, which he had named Takumi, aided him. Takumi turned out to be a wolf with some dog blood in him. It didn't surprise him when Kiyo found out, but he was surprised a bit by who the knowledge came from. Kiyo was eating his dinner in an alley when another stray boy walked up to him. " Sutekina inu. Watashi no namae wa Daichi." The boy said, sitting down. Takumi had instantly let out a small warning growl. Daichi laughed. "Smart to!" He spoke in english. Kiyo started. "Your english?" He asked. Daichi nodded. "My mom and dad were killed in a car crash. I escaped from the orphanage they put me in." He said with a shrug. Kiyo smiled and shook hands with him. "Kiyoshi. My name is Kiyoshi."

At that point, Kiyoshi, Daichi, and Takumi worked together in surviving. They faced against many gangsters and the possibility of being caught. But the two never gave up without a fight. The two became a larger group of orphaned strays as they grew older, slowly becoming the most well known gang of thieves in Japan. Kiyo and Daichi remained the leaders, Kiyo often going on travels and leaving Daichi in charge. One day, Kiyo caught wind that an asian boy with the same last name as him was competing in the Olympics. Stunned, Kiyoshi trained his body until his muscles were strong and his body able to withstand many things, and he entered in for the pentathalon.
Crush: Open
Themesong: This is Halloween
Other: He has a wolf-dog companion named Takumi. He's also one of the leaders of the well known japanese gang of thieves. He's the twin brother of Kohaku and is the spitting image of him.
Sorry for the short history. There's more about him, but I don't want to end up writing a whole freaking book about him. ^_^;

:II Kohaku II:

Kohaku shrugged. "Eeyah." He said. "I've always trained in both archery and judo and it seems strange to me to do them apart. So I entered both." He said, his voice quiet still. He smiled slightly at Rin, then turned back to the boy who looked like his brother. With a start, he noticed a dog hiding in the shadows at the boy's feet. The dog's eyes locked on him and the staring contest ensued. Kohaku felt the challenge in those eyes and he refused to back down. He lifted his chin slightly, staring down at the dog. Their was no way that thing was a dog. It had to be a wolf. Those eyes... The boy let out a small whistle, breaking into Kohaku's thoughts. The dog turned away, grumbling, and Kohaku looked away as well. Only to stare straight into the eyes of his brother. "He likes you." Kiyoshi said, smiling slightly. Kohaku was too stunned to move. He hadn't notice the boy walk up to them.

.+Rin Mori+.
She sat up straight in her cushioned seat, feeling somewhat distrustful towards that strange boy who was the mirror image of Kohaku. She turned to the latter, her eyes questioning him for an explanation, but was impressed by his reaction. She had never seen Kohaku like that. Looking at his face, you could almost swear he had just heard the wolf-dog talk. Rin avoided the animal carefully - she was secretly afraid of dogs, moreover of those crossed with wild animals - and stared into the boy's eyes unmovingly, her hostility towards the person who had unsettled Kohaku so much only thinly veiled. "Kyō wa. Anata wa daredesu ka?" she asked in a determined Japanese accent, and only then remembered herself to be polite. After all, she had no reason to be rude to this guy. She forced a smile, but she was certain that it was not too convincing, and outstretched her hand in front of herself. "I'm Rin Mori."

:II Kohaku II:

Kohaku watched as his brohter gave a mocking bow, taking Rin's hand and kissing it lightly. "Kiyoshi, at your service." He said, a slight smug grin taking place on his face. But his eyes said otherwise. He was genuinely curious about Rin, but wary as well. The sarcasm was just a facade to hide that. Kohaku couldn't stop staring at him. He felt as if his world had stopped. "Kiyo...." He whispered. Kiyoshi froze and his eyes widened in disbelief. He turned and looked closer at Kohaku, then his own body froze. "Haku....." He whispered. The two twins stared at each other incredulously, both amazed at having found each other in the least likely of places. Then Kohaku leaned forward and embraced Kioyshi in a tight bear hug. Kiyoshi returned the hug, burying his face into the hollow of Kohaku's neck. They stood like that, taking each other in and letting the memories of their brief childhood over take them. And just like that, two people became one again.

- mmm, i must try to catch up with whats going on.....

Kaede
Kaede had immediately slunk into one of the back seats of the bus just before they had taken off. He'd not bothered with anyone else, merely minding his own business and Hiding away in a window seat. The bus was full of all kinds of sounds and people, but he couldn't help but wish the bus ride would be over. He wasn't much for making conversation, let alone friends. Besides, he didn't know people to be very friendly otherwise; the people he'd met would never make the first move to say hello. And he was just fine with that.
Kaede shifted his position, allowing his elbow to press into the ledge of the bus just below the window, and resting his jaw bone atop his knuckles. His eyes followed the scenery that passed by the window, trying to take it all in. Hopefully, his mind would be rested and ready by the time his event came around. He would need a calm head by then.
