.+Rin Mori+.
Rin turned to face her friend with a small grin displayed in her lips, but when she spoke her voice was as calm and quiet as ever, even becoming difficult to heav over all the noise surrounding them. 'I know. This is just... incredible, right?' she asked in Japanese, relieved for being able to speak her native tongue again after hours of interviews in English. She stretched her neck to peek above the other people's heads, straining her eyes to read the signs aped to the buses' sides, and after a moment she let a small exclamation escape her lips. 'Oh, there is our bus. Let's go before we lose it again,' she motioned her head towards it, making her way through the crowd carefully enough not to step on anyone's foot.

Emily looked away, hearing the sound dim down, and saw that the athletes were heading for their buses. She'd memorized the name of her hotel the night before, repeating it and biting her lip and thinking it over and over again anxiously as she boarded the plane that took her to England. Pushing out the door, ducking her head away from the last of the cameras, she made her way across the pavement, feeling slightly awkward on the street in her full uniform. Eventually, she saw a bus labeled with her hotel's name and let out a relieved sigh, turning horizontally, ducking, and standing on her tiptoes to squeeze through the crowd, her stomach sucked in and her breath held. When there was nothing between her and the vehicle, Emily grinned, taking the step inside in a single leap. As she found a seat in an empty row for two, she sat down and undid her hair, letting it fall over her shoulders in the way the stylists had told her not to at the ceremony. She leaned her head against the window, staring out at the street as she waited for everyone to be aboard. She'd never traveled until the games, and she was dying to see the hotel.

Username: Africa.
Name: Elissa
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Country: Canada
Sport and discipline: Gymnastics
Description/Picture: Image
Personality: Quick to judge, Elissa is the type of person whom appreciates a good first impression. Because of this, she often separates people into one of two groups; like or dislike. Often, theres not much in between. In truth, she's not mean, simply rathers to steer clear of those who tend to rub her the wrong way. It isn't as if everyone gets put on her bad side, because truthfully, its not many whom she dislikes, but if she does end up disliking you, she'll make her point.
Despite this little quirk of hers, Elissa is often very laid back, preferring to simply lie back with her guitar or out on a rock by the beach, just watching the waves to think. The exception to her laid back attitude is with her Gymnastics, and body. She is constantly overly determined to keep in shape and never miss a run. This often worries her father, as her older sister had gotten sent to therapy due to her eating disorder.
With her Gymnastics competitors, she prefers to analyze their skill and techniques thoroughly, something she's done ever since she was a little girl, watching Gymnastics on TV. She is often polite and fairly warm with them, not exactly friendly, because she understood long ago that by pushing herself to become the best, she couldn't hurt friends to do that. Instead, she made friends outside of her Gymnastics life.
In short, Elissa is the person whom is quick to judge yet fair to judge, someone whom is laid back and often careless, and someone whom is possibly too determined.
Bio: Lives with her father, her parents having split up due to her mothers affairs. Her parents split at her young age of 7, which really pushed her over the edge. Instead, she turned to her trampoline, her cartwheels, her flips, and of course, her guitar, while her sister dropped her eating schedual completely. In seventh grade, she managed to make the Gymnastics team, her skill progressing to being one of the three best of her class, soon being watched by scouts whom found her and the two other girls quite talented. And so, life moved on from there, helping her along with her shattered family.

Julio Maestas

Julio felt himself pushed forward by the crowd, walking along as quickly as possible to avoid being trampled, hurrying up the bus steps with a large poster pasted on it's side showing the name of the hotel he guessed they were to stay at. Once on the bus, it had rather large walkway, but the seats were filling fast, so Julio popped into the first empty seat he saw. Which, coincidentally was next to the girl from earlier.

:II Kohaku II:

Kohaku walked through the thick and screaming crowds. The cauldron had been lit, and the games had begun. His heart rate sped up a notch as excitement began to take hold of him. At 4 o'clock, he would begin his tournaments. He briefly wondered if Sensei would be there. It would be nice to have him watching. He shook his head and scanned the ground, his height allowing him to look at all the different heads. But try as hard as could, he couldn't spot his missing brother Kiyoshi. His shoulders sank somewhat and he headed towards the hotel that his Sensei had told him.
THe London Royal Plaza Hotel.
Prefferring to walk, Kohaku padded along the streets, his identity hidden by the thin film of fabric called his hoodie. He glanced up, noting the buses and the hotel, not too far away now. Then he saw Rin. And the other contestants. 'Chikushou!' He cursed in Japanese. He sighed and gave up, heading slowly towards the bus. As much as he wanted to walk, it was probably faster by bus. Not too mention that he wanted to speak with Rin. His heart hurt in ways it had never done as he watched her. She was so beautiful, with her smooth oval face and her sweet brown eyes. It hurt so much to be close to her, knowing she would never know his love for her. But it had to be done. Because he had seen somthing getting onto the bus that had made his heart stop. A black haired head, so similar to his own that it could of been no coincidence.
Was it possible, that Kiyo was here, competeing in the games?
He carefully got onto the bus and sat in the farthest, and darkest corner. Where no one would see him. He scanned the heads, searching for that one black head. When he found it, he took a sharp breath. Who was it? There was no way.... Kiyoshi had been lost in Japan.... It couldn't be him.

Emily switched from watching the traffic outside the window to staring aimlessly as people filed in, their footsteps loud against the hollow floor of the bus. She caught a glimpse of a familiar face, but looked away without thinking. A moment later, the brain registered her thoughts, and her eyes darted back to the general area where she had found a sense of deja vu in the air. Her eyes landed on the same boy she'd stepped in front of, and she forced a smile onto her face, nodding at him when he sat down. "You again, huh?" she asked, obviously teasing as she laughed afterwards, winking at him as an extra measure to let him know she was only joking.
"I'm Emily."
She reached out her hand for him, though she didn't know what country he was from and if he had the custom of handshaking, shifting in her seat slightly so she could be more comfortable as she faced him.

Julio Maestas

Sensing a slight air of unease from the girl as he sat in front of her, and a forced smile, Julio had just gotten up to leave when the said something and then winked, introducing herself quickly thereafter and extending a hand. Taking her hand, he shook it with a half smile and a nod, returning to his seat. No esta feliz que estoy aqui... he thought to himself. "Yo me llamo Julio," he said in Spanish, just to see if she perhaps spoke Spanish as well.

Emily watched as he got up, her expression changing slightly, but he sat down again, shaking her hand. As he spoke, she bit her lip, trying to think back to a time when she had heard the phrase, or something similar to it, before. She recognized the language instantly; it was Spanish, without a doubt. She eventually traced back to her language classes in junior high, finally identifying his answer as an introduction of sorts. "Hablo algo de español," she said uncertainly, her eyebrows raised at him as she let an unsure smirk slide onto her face.
She added, after a moment of thought, "Lo ciento," her cheeks deepening just a hue.
Running a few fingers through her hair, she met his dark brown gaze, scanning his face to see if she'd gotten it right or if she was totally off. The latter was her guess.

((Africa, you're accepted c: ))

.+Rin Mori+.
After successfully crossing the seemingly endless sea of people parting them from the bus, Rin halted for a moment in front of the vehicle's doors, a slight frown showing in her face. She thought she could recognize one of the faces inside, despite the strong shadow cast over his features by a hoodie. Mouthing a brief apology to Ren, she jumped inside and took a second look at the male sitting in the farthest corner in the back. There was no mistaking: he either was Kohaku-san, the other Japanese judo fighter, or his long lost twin, she thought. Without a split second of hesitation, Rin walked to his side, unaware of the irony present in that last thought. "Hey," she called out in order to make him notice her presence. Kohaku seemed completely plunged in some deep reflection. "Do you mind if I sit here?" she questioned in a swift Japanese with northern accent.

Not waiting for an affirmative reply, she sunk down into the soft seat, allowing her tired legs to rest for a little while, and gesturing to Ren through the window to come in as well and sit with them.
