Name:
Adrianna Tarnowska /Ah-dree-ah-nah/ I'm not even going to try and spell out her surname phonetically. xD She can be called Adria. /Ah-dree-ah/
Age:
Twenty-one.
Gender:
Female
Country:
Poland
Sport and discipline:
Fencing, Equestrian - Show jumping.
Description/Picture:
Up there. :3
Personality:
Adrianna is pretty normal for someone competing in the Olympics. Of course, she's a hard worker and all, but sport isn't everything in her life. She's the happy-go-lucky kind of person, always with a smile, but she's annoyingly truthful and would rather tell someone what she finds wrong with them than sit back and not hurt their feelings. She's smart though, too, and she's gentle with people most of the time, only turning awful when something about them bothers her too much. She knows how to take care of herself, but can get a little too emotional in anger or love. She's quite impatient, wanting to get something when and where she wants it and not have to wait for it, exactly the reason why she was always so horrible at dressage.
Bio:
Born in a small city in Poland, she grew up perfectly happy, and started riding at the age of seven. She was galloping, jumping over more than metre high obstacles and easily taking care of the horses she was assigned to at the stables by the time she turned ten and started her fencing career. She still managed to cope with two sports, school and friends, hard work getting her where she wanted. Her family was quite rich, so you might say, so at the age of fifteen, with many medals and rosettes from winning riding competitions (mostly in cross-country and show-jumping, mind you, she was never patient enough to score well in dressage) and a lot of experience in fencing, her parents bought her her own horse. The three year old mare was only taught the basics, but with love and care, Adria managed to develop a bond with the horse, and from then on, only competed on the girl, Festive. The horse was just like her; rubbish at dressage, preferring to leap off and do some jumping instead. As for fencing, it was a quiet victory. She would work her way to the top slowly, and by the time she turned eighteen, she was the best in her country, at least in her own age group. Two years later, she was still one of the best at fencing and show jumping, so she was sent to the Olympics with her colleagues to compete in the two disciplines.
Even though she was so caught up in sports, she still managed to be good in school. She didn't have much time for meeting with people, so she never really had any greater friends in school, but she trained in both fencing and horse-riding individually and in groups, so she managed to form friendships there. As for education and grades, she was always fairly intelligent, so she graduated very well, managing to get into one of the best universities in Poland, at which she started studying Psychology. It's not that she doesn't want to devote her life to sports, she just thinks rationally and decided that the sport business was only good for her until a certain age, and if she wanted to make a living, well, she just had to get a real education.
Crush:
She might develop one.
Themesong:
She loves music, of course, but she has never found just one song that would fit her life. She thinks she's too young for that.
Other:
She speaks fluent English, enough German to communicate and a little Japanese (blame her friend, who insisted her to take some lessons).
Also, I love you for making this RP. <3 All my other ones have died. ;_;
