(Just some random stuff. Max got his powers, Kodi is being angsty, Aso is passed out, I have no idea where the others are. Rikku and others are somewhere...)

Shadow's breathing calmed. He felt is numb mind begin to register thoughts again. His adrenaline drained and he felt some exhaustion creep into him. "You're okay." he murmured, more to himself than to Adrianne. He shivered. When he'd seen her laying there, her blood gushing from her arm, her face pale, it had been like Ari all over again. He heard some yelling from above and his stomach flipped over. Crap! The Erasers! Shadow had forgotten all about them. Gritting his teeth, he scooped her up gently in his arms and gave his wings a powerful push. Shadow winced. They still hurt, but he'd have to deal with it. "Here we go.." he smashed his wings downwards and took off at super speed.

Shadow's wings had no strength left in them. Between blasting away from the flock at top speed for a long time, crashing into the trees, blasting away again, fighting Erasers, then exhausting himself from crying over Ari and Adrianne, he had no energy. And Adri's dead weight in his arms and the Erasers still on their tail weren't making it any easier. You can do this. Only a short while to go until safety. He kept telling himself, even though he honestly couldn't be sure. For all he knew he'd have to carry on like this for miles until the Erasers gave up. Shadow's body ached at the thought of it. He looked over his shoulder. The Erasers where dots now. If I stop, they'll probably fly right past me. he thought, swooping down and landing in a clearing. He quickly took cover under the treetops and looked around for a place to rest and hide. Finally, Shadow found a huge pine tree. The bottom branches where at least five feet off the ground, but they curved downwards to touch the ground. As Shadow squeezed between the branches, he discovered that there was a space enclosed by the branches big enough for the both of them. Perfect. Gently, he set Adrianne down on the soft ground carpeted by pine needles and lay down himself. He knew he should keep guard, stay up and watch for Erasers and make sure Adrianne didn't die on him. But he was so... tired... he could practically feel the exhaustion tugging at him. Before he knew it, Shadow's eyes where closed and he was sound asleep.

Shadow's stormy blue eyes slitted open. Above him stretched a curved roof of pine needles. What the...? Where the heck am I? Where is everyone?! he bolted upright in a panic and then relaxed when he saw Adrianne next to him. Everything came back to him. The flock. Ari. The Erasers. Shadow shivered a little, the morning was warm but crisp, and in the shade of the pine tree everything was still cold and coated with dew. With a sigh, he pulled his legs under him and bent forward. He pulled aside the evergreen branches like a curtain, early morning light hitting his face. Shadow took a breath of the air, a smile on his face, and opened his eyes. And screamed.

Rikku nodded "that's awesome.." she got up nervously "If you wanna come with me it would be nice I mean like safety in numbers plus I can't really get anywhere safe in the sky" she rubbed her belly.

"Sure," Julia said "That would be fine."
Illana popped up behind Nessa.
"Jeeze, Illana! You scared the daylights out of me!" Nessa said
"Where did you go?" Julia asked.
"Just exploring." Illana said
"Right. Rikku this is Illana, She's a Ghost, but she can temporally make her self umm, Alive." Nessa said

(Hmm. The logic of that statement somehow escapes me, but knowing you, I predict that you'll have something good in store for the other participants of the role-play. [Sorry, I'm chaneling some Brennan. 8D])

Rikku nearly had a heart attack "wow uh that's a pretty good power" she shuddered to think about it. She sighed "I need to find my old flock bt I have no idea where they went and what their doing".

Justin woke with a start. The sun was rising. They had to get out of here before the School got to them. "Hey, everybody! Wake up! Sorry, but we have to get moving!"
Ari bolted, so fast she almost fell out of her tree branch. One thought penetrated her brain. Shadow. She expected him everywhere, but he was nowhere to be seen. She knew him well enough to know where he was at, though. Far away from here. He must have bolted after she died.
Tommy shook awake, cradling in his arms, Angel. Thank heaven, she was still asleep in the baby carrier. "Angel," he crooned, not to wake her up, just to speak to her. He looked across, to see Mayli watching him intently, bags under her eyes. She hadn't slept.
Mayli wiped her eyes. She had not slept, her maternal instincts keeping her awake. Even though Tommy was Angel's father, she just couldn't feel safe unless Angel was in her arms. To hear they had to start moving was really tiring to her, already.
ALIA shrugged awake, the promise of Peter being there forcing her to open her eyes. She looked around. "Peter? Sab?" she asked, hearing Justin's orders.

"I seen a few kids." Illana said "Out there some where."
Illana disappeared.
"Don't worry, she's still here." Julia said
"How many people are in your old flock?" Nessa asked Rikku
