"The wooing is coming to an end," I mumbled to myself as I began to walk off. I felt like just dunking myself into the water again. 'I'm sorry for saying all of those things. I thought that they'd keep us together, not break us apart. But, I was wrong about that. And, what does a rock have that I don't?'

'I can be silent...You never told me to shut up or anything though.' I sighed a little and continued to wander off with a scowl on my face. My wingtip was dipping into the water now as I walked along the edge.

I rolled my eyes and sighed. Listen, you don't get it. You're annoying me. Can you SHUT UP now, and GET THE H*LL out of my life already?!

I sighed a little and cut off the mind link. "I really screwed up this time," I mumbled under my breath. I ran a hand through my hair and settled down at the water's edge. My one wing was still an ashy gray, even though my other was a bright white. "All because I said that I still loved her." I buried my face in my hands. "Did she want me to be mad at her? There's no way I could do that."

"Taylor!" Alia whined when the he left her with the Devin impersonator. She crawled back, and almost retched again when her hand almost landed in her bloody puke on the sand. She went around it, and inched farther away from the giant blue cat. Any scientist could have sucked Devin's mind out, and...and...oh, who knows what! She bit her lip, her wounds were bleeding again...

Justin bit his lip and sustained a whine, but he sighed, knowing he'd never win. "Me, Tommy and Kat. Rescue Force 1. The rest of you stay behind, and that's an order," he said, before flying out the window, taking Tommy with him. He grabbed Kat's hand.

"Bye, Mayli!" Tommy called, while Justin was dragging him.

Mayli smiled at Tommy. She just couldn't help it. Inside her. it felt like her baby was smiling too. She was about five months now, Mayli wasn't sure how big the baby was yet or how developed, maybe not much. She was one of the first experiments with impregnation, the Scientists called the experiment Repopulance. She didn't have to be one of them to figure out what that meant. If the flock couldn't stop whatever the School was doing, a lot of people were going to die, and be replaced with experiments. She loved her baby, she knew she did. But she couldn't help feeling, what if something went wrong? The scientists had warned her, and said that she would more than likely not go full-term, and that the baby might be born premature, and in that case, they were in a lot of trouble. Babies were hard to take care of, and pre-mature ones were even worse. She wished she knew who the baby's father was, but she already had a person in mind for the father, typically. Although, she wasn't sure if Tommy was...mature enough. He was only three, just a boy, no matter how old he looked, or acted. This was going to be tough. Mayli groaned and put her head in her hands, but keeping one hand on the baby. She wondered if it was a boy or a girl, and if it had wings yet, or if it would be an egg or a real baby, and if it was an egg, how long she would have to wait for it to hatch.

Ari's eyes grew soft, and blue. She kissed Shadow gently on the cheek. "It's okay, Shadow. Stay with us, we can't risk losing you too," she said, taking his hand. She slowly realized...they hadn't kissed yet...

[Pandora!]

Kat laughed, Justin looked frustrated with her. "I don't take orders." She said simply, before spreading open her wings and jumping up into the air, rocketing up above New York. As soon as she was high enough to be mistaken as a bird she stopped and hovered in the air, waiting for Justin and Tommy.

Hearing Kat's musical laugh, Justin couldn't help but lighten up. He flew high, as did Tommy. "Alright, Tom, Canada, you said?" Justin asked.

Tommy responded. "Yeah, Canada. Not too far from the shack. Maybe it was the lake that Ari took Akito," Tommy said, scoping out Alia's thoughts again. After a few hours, they were soaring above snowy landscapes. Minnesota, Tommy thought, and soon they were indeed, in Canada.

Mayli sighed and sat up, looking at Ari. She was at a loss on what to do.

Ari smiled at Mayli, she couldn't help it. The girl's dark violet eyes were captivating, they held so much wisdom and pain and knowledge. There was something raw there, and Ari couldn't help thinking that if anything came in the way of Mayli's child, she'd tear the force to pieces, no matter what or who it was.

I groaned. "Alia, they're coming to get me to bring me back in a couple of seconds. You need to know that it really is me. They made a bigger body for me and currently this is a mind link. The other me is back at the School. I swear to God this is actually me. PLEASE realize that!"
