((Ack, maybe >.<))
Justin smiled at her brightly as squeezed her hand. "I think my feather likes your wings," he said laughing a bit. He leaned up against a rafter, looking down at Tommy, Mayli, Ari and Shadow. Mon-chii was around here somewhere, off of Tommy's shirt. But there was something missing..."ALIA!" Justin cried out, and hopped off the rafters, and flew in circles in the air. Like pacing, but different. "Oh my gosh I can't believe it. Guys, Alia's gone! What if she's lost in New York!? Worse! What if she went back?!" he yelled.
Tommy and Mayli's eyes widened in shock, and Tommy's head swiveled all around, looking for Alia. He stuck his head out the window, while Mayli ran to look in the other rooms of the penthouse apartment. Even Mon-chii looked frenzied, calling out in his little monkey-voice.
Ari's mouth formed a perfect o. "We brought her here...Shadow, Alia might have gone back. FOR PETE'S SAKE, TOMMY, JUST LOOK FOR HER THOUGHTS!" she shouted to her little brother, who was screaming Alia's name out the window.
Tommy blushed and grinned sheepishly. "Oh, yeah. Right," he said, and began desperately going through the heads of everyone in New York City. None of the thoughts were Alia's and he learned a lot of information he really didn't need to know. He went beyond that, and finally, after several minutes, pinpointed Alia's thoughts. "She's at a lake, in Canada again. She's hurt, bad, and Taylor's with her. Devin's gone, I think he's surrendered himself back to the School. It seems as if...he went back with them," Tommy said, getting angrier by the minute, and his own eyes were slowly, slowly, turning black, and he looked more like his brother than ever. And he had no painful experience to stop him from killing Devin when they got to him.
Justin noticed this transformation in Tommy, and swooped down to take his brother's hand and pull him outside, high above the hotel.
"Justin!" Tommy bellowed, and began flapping above the hotel, treading air.
"Do you know what that is?" Justin responded, pointing to Tommy's eye.
"What is what?" Tommy snapped.
"You can feel your eyes, changing colors. I know you can. I do it too. It's caused by great emotion, Tommy," he said, and then he looked around and leaned closer. Tommy's eyes were slowly turning back to blue, good. "Tommy, what I am about to tell you, you can under NO circumstances, ever tell anyone else. Ever. When I was eight years old, and Ari was five, Erasers came and shot Mom and Dad. I thought they were dead, and my eyes turned pitch black and I went into this unbelievably killing frenzy. I killed every Eraser there, and your sister watched. She doesn't remember it now, she was young, but I do. It's haunted me for years, Tommy, and that's why when my eyes turn black I do my best to control myself. You get unnaturally strong, and bloodthirsty, when your eyes stay black for a long time. We have to be careful about what we feel, Tommy. So be careful. Be very, very careful," Justin continued, then brought Tommy back into the hotel. "Kay," Justin said, and looked around. "Are we all going back to get Alia, or just a few?" he said, his dark blue leader gaze staring out to everyone.
