Alia looked up at Devin, and her breath caught in her throat. She blushed This guy was...hott. She quickly looked down again, at the poor avian's bloodied side. "An Eraser shot her down. Got her in the side, but the bullet exited and if we don't get some kind of bandage on her she's going to bleed out," Alia said softly to him.
Justin carried the bags and Tommy. "Hey, Tommy, buddy. How about you go to Mommy? And when Mommy finds somewhere good to land, you make us all know where it is, 'kay?" Justin said, kissing the top of Tommy's head and handing the bags and Tommy to his mom.
Tommy nodded tearfully.
Justin looked at his baby brother. "This is no life for a child," he thought sadly. "You think you can take all this, Mom?" he asked, looking into his mother's teary eyes.
Angel nodded. "Find your sister. Bring her back," she said, in a strong, confident, calm voice.
Ari moaned gently. Was that...was that Devin? Did she hear Devin's voice? She struggled to open her eyes, and succeded, but just barely.
Justin flew down, to where Devin was, and nearly screamed. He rushed over to Ari. "Oh, hell. Ari, are you okay?" he asked, brushing a hair out of her face.
Ari tried to smile. "Jus....tin? Dev?" she asked weakly.
Alia smiled slightly. She was happy the Ari girl was okay.
Justin choked up, hearing Ari's voice. "Yeah, Air, we're here. We'll get 'cha out," he said, looking up and around. He noticed the other avian girl. "Thank you," he said in an ultra-gratitude voice.
Alia smiled. "You are very welcome," she said, and then looked up at the hott boy with black hair. She slowly relieved herself from her crouched position. "I'm Alia," she said gently.
