Behind Closed Doors [Fantasy, Semi-Lit] *Not Accepting*

Ryley shrugged off the girl - Kat's - first comment, he probably would act the same stuck in this situation but, at the moment, he thought it wisest to play nice. He sighed lightly as Kat told him she knew of no way to get out, or of where they were. "I'm Ryley," he introduced, forcing a polite smile. He did not mean to appear rude or unfriendly, it was just, under the current situation, he found it hard to attempt some sort of smile. He followed her glance down at the clothes she was wearing; looks like he wasn't the only one out at a party last night. He quickly raised his gaze again, glancing down the corridor at where he had heard voices before and, though muffled, were still audible. "Don't worry, you're not going crazy - I can hear them too," he said lightly, half-teasing as he smiled a more genuine smile. Ryley turned his body to face down the corridor, motioning for Kat to follow as he took several steps towards the room at the end of the hall.

Kat grinned and nodded, happy now she was almost certain this wasn't a dream. Her instincts told her that she should stay where she was so as not to get lost but they also told her to find civilisation and that was what the voices must be. She walked behind Ryley, but soon stopped. "Sorry." she muttered leaning against a wall. She bought her leg up and tugged off her heel. She did the same with the other shoe and then looked at them in her hand. She sighed and then shrugging set them against the wall. Then she caught up with Ryley, the cold floor waking her up. She could see a door at the end and the voices were coming from behind it. She looked at Ryley curiously but then shrugged. She opened the door. Several people were standing around, one girl with her back to them. She had a gun.

Isi grew tired of waiting and raised the gun slightly. Her gray eyes were dark and questioning everyone in the room. "Who. Are. You?" She said, clenching the gun with a death grip. She normally wouldn't be like this, but once again, no clue where she was and who these people were. She smirked at the guy hiding behind the other guy and gave them some reason to calm down, "Look, I'm not going to shoot unless you give me reason to." However, Isi did have the gun raised but not aimed at anyone.

Nick frowned and stepped from behind the guy, "Yeah, alright, I'm Nick. I don't know where we are or why we're here, okay? Just don't shoot anybody." Nick slowly put up his hands in 'surrender', "I mean, do you know what's behind all these locked doors?"

At first a great wave of fear stabbed Kat but she quickly shook it off and listened as the girl spoke. She couldn't see her face, but was sure she too was scared like the others facing her. She looked at Ryley and raised an eyebrow, as if to say what shall we do? she wasn't relying on him, but she wanted to know that if she did something, well.. she just wanted to know. She sighed and stayed where she was, eyeing the girl.

Okay, so a girl threatening everyone with a gun wasn't really what Ryley was expecting when he and Kat stepped through the door, but she seemed as though she was just as scared and confused as everybody else. Difference was, she had a gun. Ryley glanced to his side and down at Kat, shrugging his shouders in answer to her silent question. What could they do? He wasn't about to tackle her or anything, she didn't seem dangerous, only rather nervous and confused...but confident. Frighteningly confident. He turned his gaze back to the room of strangers in front of them, but mostly the girl with the weapon.

Kat nodded at Ryley's silent answer to her silence question. She frowned, thinking for a moment, before stepping forwards. "You could tell us who you were." she said loudly. Her voice echoed in the empty room and a sly smile flashed across the face as she noted the affect. She was being very bold and she knew that it wasn't how 'Nick' had just spoke. It was obvious he had spoken out of fear.

Isi sighed, "Right, I'm Isindree Powell, but please call me Isi. I'm sorry I have a gun, but it's my protection, and it runs in the family. My father was an F.B.I agent so I function like one in times like these." She lowered her, glad to have some people speaking, but it was still cocked. She didn't mention that, hoping that no one had heard in the first place when she quietly cocked it. Her gray eyes sparked with interest at the girl who spoke, "Who are you? Do you know where we are?"

Nick sighed thankfully, but stayed where he was, determined to not hide now that he'd said who he was.

Kat rolled her eyes at the girl's explanation. When she turned and asked her a question she shrugged. She ignored her first question, deciding she would wait a while before she told anyone with a means of killing her, her name. "I don't think any of us know the way out. Nor do I think any of us know how we got here, where we are, what we're doing here and why." she shrugged and then her eyes sparkled slightly "Oh and I don't think any one appreciates having a gun pointed at them either." she smirked and crossed her arms, staring straight at the girl.

Isi rolled her eyes, lowering the gun even more then uncocked and put it in the back of her jeans, "There, happy? Look, I'm sorry, but its my instinct! Blame my father who taught me how to be an FBI agent." She looked around the room again and cursed in Spanish, "Well, please, forgive me. It's like being a caged animal, terrified. It was the only thing I knew to do, protect myself and figure out where I am and who I'm with. Like I said: FBI agent father who trained his daughter. Isi was beginning to like this girl, having bravery and she had some spunk. She smiled apologetically at her, knowing that probably wouldn't clear the problem but she had to try anyway. Isi then hoped the girl wouldn't hate her forever and they could at least be friends.

Nick sighed, "Oh good, we're past guns and s**t. So, I'm Nick, your Isi, who's everybody else?" Nick said thisas happily as he could, hoping to lighten the mood.

Ryley glanced over at Kat with a slight smile of amusement. She had been somewhat more polite when they had met. Then again, not many people liked people waving guns in the air. But someone with FBI training would be useful, possibly. Ryley turned his head back to face the others, focussing his attention on Nick now, rather than Isi. "Ryley," he answered, finally deciding on speaking as things had calmed down. "So, is that right? Nobody here knows where we are, why we're here etc etc?" He asked, addressing everyone in the room.
