The two kids walked into the room, startling Cole. Despite the voices that he had heard earlier, he hadn't expected anyone to find him, as there were so many hallways and places to get lost in the building. They were pretty, and the girl, Cathy, soft spoken. He was about to answer her question when the boy stepped in front of her protectively, questioning him in a much more demanding tone. Before he could respond to him, another boy stepped out, cursing and looking as confused as he was.
"Hey," Cole said to all of them, "I don't want any trouble here. I don't know anything about this place, same as you. And I definitely have no reckoning of who 'Bonnie' is. You got me all wrong." He looked up at them, hoping to see the guys react. Cole stood, a few inches taller than the boy directly in front of him, the most pressing threat. "I'm Cole," he added, sticking out his hand to shake. "And, I think we're bein' watched. I just got a feelin'."
Cole searched around the room carefully while still keeping an eye on the guy in front of him. He had no intentions to hurt Cathy, so he hoped that the guy would back down. He couldn't shake the idea that there were more people about, though. He thought that he had heard more voices after Cathy and her friend had arrived, and it would make sense that they would follow the sound of their conversation. He just hoped that they weren't hostile.
((Edited because I missed Nick. Sorry about that.))
