Behind Closed Doors [Fantasy, Semi-Lit] *Not Accepting*

Isi watched the others go follow Cole then turned to Adam, "I don't really want to follow them... So, let's go this way." She started to walk towards Adam, passed him, then continued to the hallway behind him. She stopped and turned around, a mischievous grin twitched onto her face, "Wonder what we'll find." Her hand had found her gun and she'd taken from its place, turning off the safety, but not cocking it. She looked down then up, embarrassed, "Sorry... It's sort of a habit.. I won't shoot you, though.. I don't know if you heard my story of my father being an FBI agent, and oh you don't want to hear that..." Isi started to ramble like she always did when she was nervous or excited, in this case both. Only, this time it bothered her because Adam was so cute.

Nick sighed and looked down, "So, you gonna lead us down, Zara?"

(Sorry, complete writer's block for Nick.. I don't really know what's going on with them..)

(Well, they are debating whether or not they want to go down or not. Zara's afraid of heights and it seems no one really wants to slide down the landslide to get to the bottom.)

Zara looked at him, shrugging. She juggled the ideas in her head. Go back and come here later, or go down and possibly find a key. Go back, or possibility? The ideas were clotted there, and she was confused. She dug her fingers into a small crevice in the wall behind her. She always had to grip at something while thinking deeply.

"Well, obviously no one wants to climb down this thing," Sky said. "So let's just go back. Maybe someone else has gotten a door open." She turned away from the edge and walked back through the door.

((sorry, this post was a fail. I didn't know what to say and I honestly have no idea where anyone is.))

Nick frowned, "So Zara and I broke down this door for nothing?" He shook his head, "No way, we're going down whether you like it or not." With that he looked over the edge again, got down and slid down the side. His feet hit an outcropping about five feet below and he grunted, looking up, "You two coming?" He looked over the edge, trying to find another outcropping, ledge, or footholds to climb down the mountain.

Zara nodded, then slid ofter him. She looked down, carefully picking her decent route. It was perilous, but somewhat like rock climbing- yet she didn't remember when or where she went rock climbing. It was only the thought that pierced the fog barrier over her mind. Anyway possible- she had let one thought come through. It had to lead to others, right?
Apart from her thoughts, the ground below her seemed to become even more steep. It would become near impossible to keep going without rocks crumbling out from under you. Yet they had come so far. They couldn't back down now. Even though she could still reach up and touch the surface below the ledge where everyone was standing, she felt as though she had come a mile- and she probably did.

Sky

Sky shrugged. She didn't care what they did. She followed Nick and Zara down over the edge with impossible ease. It was almost as if she wasn't walking at all. She looked down without fear at the buildings far below. The ledge was getting steeper. Sky's balance was good, but keeping her feet on the edge was becoming more and more complecated. It wasn't long before the ground crumbled under her, but she managed to catch herself before she fell. Sky breathed heavily. She wasn't usually afraid of heights, but she couldn't say that wasn't terrifying. She got over it quickly, and then asked, "What do y'all suppose is down there, in the town?" She didn't have any theories herself, and was wondering if the others did.

"Who knows- or cares for that matter. Only that we find something that leads us to what our pasts were and how to get away from here." Zara answered lightly, giving a sharp intake of breath as the ground crumbled beneath her feet. She held tightly to what leverage she had and scrambled for a foothold before continuing on. She breathed heavily, eyes shut tightly in terror. She eased her way down the tantalizingly sheer cliffs into the ravine. She forced herself to continue on, for the hope that once again her memories would be hers. Nothing linked to why the sudden memory loss had so expertly crippled her. No trauma to her skull or the back of her neck. No swelling of the mind- or there was no pressure, only a splitting headache whenever she delved into her past.

Sky shrugged. She wasn't going to rush to get home and miss out on this. Her family could last without her for a little while, and this would a story to tell. She just hoped they wouldn't get too worried about her.
Sky frowned, thinking. What was Zara saying about finding out about her past? Did she not remember it? Did anyone here know theirs? Sky remembered hers. Well, not really before the age of five, but she blamed that on school filling her brain up with useless junk.
Sky shrugged again. "I care what's down there. I'm happy as long as it's interesting and entertaining." Sky's eyes flashed slightly. Her idea of "entertaining" didn't always end well for other people. "And it'd be kinda nice if nothing tried to eat us."
