Secret World [Fantasy/Romance RP] Accepting!

For centuries the Fire, Ice, Earth, and Air clans have lived their lives seperatly on this beautiful planet called Zanos. Once every year, the Great Spirits call upon your clans to travel deep inside Zanos for a peaceful celebration and offering.
Everyone pretends to act kindly towards one another, but within the past decade, attacks have been raining down on all the clans. Who do the clans blame? Their opposite element. Fire and Ice are hateful and brutal towards one another. Earth and Air, unspeakable hatred. You have no choice but to hate your opposite element, unless you wish to be banished by your clan.
But there is something about your opposite. You had always been told the 'opposites attract', right? Then why are you now being taught that opposites should never interact until Peace Week? The others from your generation, even in other clans, seem... Different. Rebellious, new, exciting, interesting, attractive. But why?
Are the Great Spirits upset with your ancesters' choices about other clans? Upsetting the Great Spirits could easily be the end of Zanos...

The creatures in this roleplay do not look like humans or anime. They look more the the Navi in the movie 'Avatar', but minus the tails. You don't have to use an image for them, just a detailed description.
Dragons aren't necessary, but they would help your character at times.
This roleplay is kind-of based on Romeo and Juliet, so I would like for the different Clans to have (very tiny) secret romances.

The Clans:

Fire:
Fire. This clan has control over sunlight, heat, friction, energy.. anything to do with the sun or heat. They tend to live in the desert climate, their skin colors are either sandy tan, medium orange, red, vibrant red with a brown, yellow, or auburn hair color. They usually have golden colored eyes, slim bodies, thin skin, and a knack for toughing it out in the heat. The only place they are most vunerable are in the Ice Clan territory. Ice is their opposite and 'enemy', even though they are taught to hate Earth and Air too.

Ice:
Ice. This clan has control over cold, snow, sleet, hail.. anything that has to do with water or cold. They tend to live in either snowy tundras or chilly mountains, their skin's usually a pale white with a pale, icy blue hair color. They tend to have blue eyes with stockier bodies, thicker skinned, and an unbelievable talent for suriving the bitter cold. The only place they are most vunerable is in the Fire Clan territory. Fire is their opposite and 'enemy', even though they are taught to hate Earth and Air too.

Earth:
Earth. This clan has control over earth, dirt, trees, rocks.. anything that has to do with earth or nature. They tend to live in forest climates, their skin's usually a green to a brown with a soft, natural brown, red, or blonde hair color. They tend to have brown or green eyes with normal, moderate skin, and a way to live in the harsh nature. The only place they are most vunerable is in the Air Clan territory. Air is their opposite and 'enemy', even though they are taught to hate Fire and Ice too.

Air:
Air. This clan has control over air, wind, monsoons, oxygen.. anything that has to do with air or wind. They tend to live in spacious climates (sometimes in the clouds!), their skin's usually a sky blue to cloud white with a pale white to almost black hair color. They tend to have blue or clear eyes with light, smooth but very thin skin, and a wierd floating way to their movement. The only place they are most vunerable is in the Earth Clan territory. Earth is their opposite and 'enemy', even though they are taught to hate Fire and Ice too.

Looks: Pale white skin, baby blue hair with silver streaks placed randomly. She is shorter than most girls, only at a height of 5'5''. Lia has blueish/grey eyes, and usually wears the common Ice Clan female clothes of a light tan indian styled dress with boots lined with goat fur.
Crush/Love: No one; open
Personality: Usually a tomboy, she isn't afraid to ride her dragon everywhere or get a little mud on her while exploring new things. She tends to get in trouble often while exploring, once caught in the Earth Clan territory with her dragon. She isn't much one for hugging and showing affection, but she does enjoy having a group of good friends with her.
History: Raised by two Ice Clan parents, she was never taught to really reach out or love someone in another Clan.
Dragon: Her dragon, Niko, is an Ice dragon. He is smaller than most, with a pale white sheen and baby blue detailing.

ooc: I just have a couple questions. You said the clans control the elements they're named after. Does everyone have the same power, or do some exceed at certain things? I don't intend to create a character like this, but out of curiosity, what would happen if, say, an Earth and a Fire clan-person had a child? Would they have both powers? Please explain the powers better.

Are there renegades who disagree with the hatred goin' down, and have the formed a band of radicalized individuals who oppose the way the four clans are living?

Finally, are dragons required?

If two seperate clans were to have a child, the possibility of it having both powers would be 50/50ish. Just like a normal human child, it would most likely take after one parent, but with a mixture of both characteristics. It might have limited control over another power (with faults), but it would mainly only have one certin power. Sorry if I confused you.

Yes. This generation of young clan members don't understand why there is such sudden hatred and violence between all of the clans, and are trying to find a way to solve it with a slight Romeo&Juliet twist. They think that the other clans are innocent on the attacks, and hopefully durning Peace Week as they travel into Zanos, they will discover what has happened and why.

Dragons are not required, just sometimes helpful with traveling. I've added that to the first post for other possible joiners to see. ^-^
