Kurt nodded, "Which half don't you get?" he asked sitting on the floor leaning against the bed and indicated for Blaine to sit next to him.

"Both halves."Blaine admitted sheepishly, shuffling over beside Kurt.

Kurt smiled and looked at Blaine "Okay, then, since this is a test on the people of anceint rome you just have to study what the people do and what they are famous for. Thats probably how they will ask you questions so... your set..." he trailed off blushing at how close they were.

"Oh yes, now that you say it that way it sounds way less complicated."Blaine replied sarcastically, scrunching up his nose as he once more attempted to understand Kurt's notes. It was an odd habit of his, scrunching up his nose whenever he was deep in thought but it always seemed to help clear his mind and helped him to concentrate.Not this time though."Wait, Ancient Rome? Like that Julius Caeser dude and the Gladiators? Or am I thinking of a completely different country? Actually, I think that was Greece all that happened in."Blaine frowned, his eyes growing wide as he made a futile attempt to figure this out.

"No thats Greece Blaine" Kurt said biting his lip to keep from laughing at the face Blaine made.

"It's not funny!"Blaine whined."I'm going to fail this test and I know it. I don't even know what most of the stuff in these notes are! Wait-Wasn't there a myth or something about Rome saying that it was built by two brothers named Romulus and Remus because as babies they'd been sent down a river or something and some wolf took thim in. So they built the city for her?"

Kurt patted his arm and turned back towards the notes. "Well, you know what. I don't even get my notes either so we'll both fail"

(Hehe, I just take the computer to my room where no one can see/hear me.Oh, there's a myth about how Rome was built. ^-^ Here;According to the founding myth of Rome, the city was founded on April 21, 753 BC by twin brothers Romulus and Remus, who descended from the Trojan prince Aeneas and who were grandsons of the Latin King, Numitor of Alba Longa. King Numitor was deposed from his throne by his brother, Amulius, while Numitor's daughter, Rhea Silvia, gave birth to the twins. Because Rhea Silvia was raped and impregnated by Mars, the twins were considered half-divine.

The new king feared Romulus and Remus would take back the throne, so he ordered them to be drowned. A she-wolf (or a shepherd's wife in some accounts) saved and raised them, and when they were old enough, they returned the throne of Alba Longa to Numitor.

The twins then founded their own city, but Romulus killed Remus in a quarrel over which one of them would reign as the King of Rome, though some sources state the quarrel was about who was going to give their name to the city. Romulus became the source of the city's name. In order to attract people to the city, Rome became a sanctuary for the indigent, exiled, and unwanted. This caused a problem for Rome, which had a large workforce but was bereft of women. Romulus traveled to the neighboring towns and tribes and attempted to secure marriage rights but as Rome was so full of undesirables they all refused. Legend says that the Latins invited the Sabines to a festival and stole their unmarried maidens, leading to the integration of the Latins and the Sabines.{From Wikipedia!})
