Payton smiled slightly and closed her eyes. just trying to think. She had seen the look in Alex's eyes. "Your sister doesn't like nymphs, does she?" She said softly, opening her eyes and looking down at her hands. She put her hair behind her ears.

Alec didn't reply. he just stared down, that was enough of an answer that she needed. He loved his sister and all but would he approve of him marrying Payton? would she ever come and see them? they would be her nieces and nephews. would Florence hate them? all these questions bopped in his heart he hated when his mind wandered.

Payton nodded and kissed Alec's cheek. "It's fine." She said and lied her head on his shoulder. "Really. Lots of people don't like nymphs." She nodded again and hugged Alec. "It's fine." She repeated, trying to convince herself as well. How would that work out? She was glad she didn't have any siblings... or at least that she knew of.

An idea sprang in Alec's mind. "light bulb" he said as he looked at her on his shoulder. "what if we got married at night! she would never know a thing! it's perfect!" he exclaimed. Camilla would be nice to Payton on the wedding day. Maybe even help her. this made him smile.

"not exactly. i'm nopt telling her your a nymph nbut i'm not telling her your a mermaid either. so tecnicallt i am not lyng" he said with a soft smile to her. it was true. he wasn't lying.

"Well, if you put it like that, okie dokie!" Payton said, smiling. She imagined the perfect wedding but then a thought came to mind. They would probably telling nymph jokes.

Alec smiled also imagining the perfect wedding. he hadn't thought about the nymph jokes though. he swam up and grabbed payton's hands and pulled her up off the rock. music started to play in the distance.
