Azlyn nodded. "Not uncommon of young girls your age, but unique none-the-less. It usually goes away after a few years if they don't find out and they don't use the power," she said, her eyes slipping to glance at Jackie and Nova every once in a while.

Nova ignored the bird, if he wanted to, with the large sword he picked up that evening, could clip the ravens wings blindfolded. not to say that he was quite at the point to do so, but its attitude to him was making his half-animal instinct to raise, he looked at the raven through the corner of his eye, waiting for Jackie. when she came out Nova looked at Jackie, "well, what happened in your opinion?"

Jasmine rolled to her side and looked at Azlyn, she could feel her sorrow, she leaned up and looked at the raven, "did you tell the others about your discovery mr. birdy?" she asked, she never liked calling an ancient or sacred talking animal by their names but by their animal, she would call Anne Mrs. Kitty if she met Anne.

Lord Karagon nuzzled into Jackies hair and pecked her peircing. Jackie laaughed and turned to Nova. "Well, honestly I know what happened. I also know that I need to get out of here and soon. I am not a good city girl, and something happened to me. That is why Lord Karagon goes everywhere with me. Or sits at the doorknob. He knows great magic. But mine is better, seeeing as my teacher was... Well I prefer to avoid that subject." She said rudely. She wasn't mad at him, but being cooped up in this cage like prison was not good for her attitude. She walked over to her corner and spread the blanket over herself. She clutched her lyre closely and plaed a few bars of Cryin' for me. She sang to it softly. The raven looked into her eyes. "I know of you'r sorrows. Please continue to weep, when you let your true emotions out the Dark Lord has no power. I must go Love. I will be waiting paitently for your awakening." He said. He flew out the window and onto the tin rooftop.

Azlyn sighed, looking at Jackie. "Jackie? What's it like to be able to sing and not kill someone?" she asked, nuzzling into th chair she was in. She was actually very comfortable. She closed her eyes and yawned, drifting in and out of sleep.

Nova knew what Azlyn was insinuating, he looked at Jackie... he was tired... his vision became very blurred, with sleep, it's been almost 34 hours since he last slept, even for a nap. he couldn't move to change his gaze from Jackie, not because of interest, or because of love, but because he lost the will to move... part of being his element, it take control instantly if he can no longer consciously hold it... the room's temperature dropped instantly, from room temperature to almost zero degrees celcius, (32 degrees fahrenheit) Jasmine took immediate notice, and noticed the exhaling of her breath... "uh oh," she mentioned.

Edit: (this is before the temperature drop) Jasmine turned to Azlyn, "but that's my skill, mr. Birdy said that 'i disrupt the balance and order of the world' and that 'i carry a symbol to correct this disordered world, like your cousins...' i am unsure what that means," she smiled, she began to see her breath and looked to her cousin Nova, (this is the ending of the above statement)

Azlyn let out a slow hiss. "Jasmine, give me a blanket, please," she said, shivering lightly. This was one of those moments where she wished her power gave her some source of heat. She was almost like a fragile flower, not being able to stand the cold. "Please, before I freeze to death."

Jasmine grabbed the thickest layer of quilt on the bed and helped wrapped Azlyn up, to keep her warm, she then went to Nova, touching the flesh of his arm... the room temperature slowly rose, Jasmines eyes also changed slowly from grey to a radiant ice blue color, the ribbon in her hair also changed color. something that was unnoticed with the element of fire, since her ribbon was not noticeable then. Nova fell unconscious on the floor when he could no longer stay away, Jasmine stepped away before he fell on her.

Azlyn watched Nova fall. Too tired to do anything, she nuzzled deep into the blankets and fell asleep.

Morning came like a snail. slow.

Nova got up off the ground, looking at the partially frozen room, he was quite embarassed he accidentally did this to the room, he looked to see the others wrapped in thick blankets, Jasmine was asleep on the floor on he back, almost like she hit her head on something in front of her and she was too weak to change position, "wake up guys," he said, using his powers to absorb the cold air, making it warmer, the ice began to melt.

Azlyn groaned, rolling over. She lifted the blanket over her head to hide the morning sun, and of course her terrible bed-head. "I'm not waking up," she mumbled, nuzzling deeper into the blanket.

Jackie shook her head. She took notice to the frozen room, but her element was fire so she was still warm. She gazed out the window. "There is nothing I wouldn't do." She said. She took in a deep breath and and looked around. She really had not wanted much sleep, the shadows of the night concerned her to a point of forcing herself to watch them. Soon one of the shadows seemed to warp as though something was moving toward them. She looked at the door and froze. Was it true, could the Dark Lord himself form from shadows? Was he at their door right now? She thought all of these things but couldn't help to grab the handle and twist it. She opened the door, and there was nothing. Not any sign anything had been there.
