"No, but your expression implied it," she said, grabbing a bag and heading into the bathroom, slamming the door. She sighed and locked it. She was just trying to be friendly, and Jackie just made her so mad sometimes. She changed into a white nightgown that was sleeveless and had lace and ribbon along the bottom. It came up to just above her knee. She put her hair up into a loose bun and walked out of the bathroom, gently putting the bag on the ground. She walked over to the chair she was sitting on before and sighed, tucking her feet up under her. She took her hair out of the bun, not liking the way it looked. She twirled her hair around her fingers absent-mindedly.

Jackie shook her head. "Again my love. Quote the raven and nevermore." She said lifting him to her shoulder. She picked up her bag and put it in the corner. "Just for our own sake do you think you could stay with us tonight. Just watch over us and keep us alerted about things." She asked. She took her blanket and sleeping gown out of the bag. She laid the blanket out and took her own lyre out. She set the raven on the ground and began to play.

"Please stop," Azlyn said softly, trying not to cover her ears to block out the beautiful music. She couldn't sing in front of them, just in fear of hurting them or killing them. Nova was the only one who knew her secret of being a siren, and she wasn't about to reveal it now.

Jackie took a deep breath. She looked at the carvings on the side of the lyre. She rubbed them as she had done many times before. She smiled as she knew what they ahd meant. A poem in the speech of beasts made by the old lion. She set it down in her lap contented to just sit there in silence. She looked at the raven. "Yes, that dear old lion. Would give his life for me. But alas I would not let him" She said to the old black bird. Lord Karagon nodded. "I would be happy to do the same. I would love to stay on the roof tonight."

"Sorry," Azlyn muttered, curling into herself. She knew that seemed rather rude without explinations, but she didn't feel like telling Jackie why she asked her to stop./

Jackie nodded. "Don't worry. I do know why." She said. She had a pretty good idea of what was going on. But she h oped her silvertongue would help her figure it out completly. She looked at the bathroom door. Perhaps a shower would do her good. She got up and grabbed her gown and brush.

Azlyn frowned at Jackie's commen. "What do you mean, you know? Jackie?" she said, her eyes large. Whatever it is, I'm sure she's wrong. She couldn't know, she thought to herself.

"Well, I just know. It is not that hard to figure out. The way you hate it when someone sings or plays music. It is pretty obvious." She said. She got up and set Lord Karagon on the blanket. She stretched and went in to fill up the large bath. She pured some soap in and shut the door. Hoping for some peace and wuiet. Just in case she locked the door.

Azlyn groaned and put her head in her hands. "Baka," she muttered to herself, her eyes closed. She lifted her head, her expression blank. Oh well, she thought to herself. It was going to happen at some point.
