"Thanks." Shane said happily. He then quickly scooped some corn and a few other items onto his plate, therefore, the rest of them could eat as well.

Every one filled their plates and started eating. Paul rubbed his rist, trying to make sure no one saw. "Dad. Stop it." Myst stated plainly. Paul practicly fell of his seat. His face went red. "Ah, n-n-no! I-it's not l-like i'm nervous! It's just... well,.... you know I... um..." Paul studdered.

(okay let's see... Myst get's her happy-go-lucky attitude from her mom, and her nervousness and habbit of blushing from her dad. Yep, that pretty much explains every thing. - - - - And now I hate Bella because she told Jacob that she loved him but she was still going to be with Edward. D8< *obviously a Jacob fan...*)

(( yeah. I'm still undecided. Mostly because it made me mad when edward left but, really made me mad when Jacob didn't give the phone to bella and made it sound like she was dead.))

Shane ate silently, unsure of why Myst's dad was acting so nervous. Is he freaked out by having me in the house? I would totally understand if he was and I would leave if he wanted. Shane thought to himself.

Myst, practicly reading reading his thoughts, put her hand on Shane's shoulder. She smiled and tilted her head. "Don't worry, my dad always get's nervous like this. He's just not used to having any guys other than his friends in the house." she said, trying to sound as nice as she could. She didn't want any one to take it personaly.

(Yeah, I know right? Jacob is all like self-loathing because he keeps breaking his promise, but then he goes makes things worse sort of on perpos. And Edward [I like to call him Mr. Sparkly] leaves Bella, then in the end proposes to her! They are so twisted in a sort of awsome way! And then there's Alice. You can't really ever get mad at her. Ha ha. It'd be so awsome to have a sister who could see the futer!)

((I'd trade my little sister for Alice! Kidding. ( Yes My sis can get very irritating) Oh! This made me laugh so hard. Okay, so Edward proposes at the end and all these little kids (10 -11) Well little for me no offence to that age group at all. but they all gasped and you could totally tell they hadn't read the book it was so hilarious.))

Shane nodded and spoke. "Oh, I see." he said before returning to his food. He was happy to have two good meals today, not to mention how grateful. "Thank you for this meal." he said looking up at Jan and Paul.

"It's no problem!" they replied in courus. Every one finnished eating their meals and Myst offered to clear the table.

"I can help Myst, if she's okay with it?" Shane said a loud, still knowing she was there. He looked over to her awaiting her response.

"Thanks!" she said and smiled again. Myst handed Shane about half the dishes and took the other half. Her parents smiled. "Myst, your father and I have to go and check the medicine at the clinic. There's a lot, so we'll be gone for a while." Jan said and then her and Paul left. Myst brought her half of the dishes to the kitchen and began to clean them.

Shane easily carried the dishes she had handed him, he sat them next to the stack Myst had brought in. Shane then found a towel he'd figured would be suitable for drying the dishes. He then stood on the opposite side of the side of the sink that had the stacks of dishes, ready to dry any of the dishes Myst would hand him.
