Nurse Sarah saw Caleb tense up when she said the word “girlfriend” and she cocked an eyebrow, looking at him inquisitively.
“So, you two aren’t a couple?”“What?” Roy looked at Caleb and then Sarah and back again,
“You aren’t an item?”He looked back down at Evan; a smile quickly took over the confused look on his face. The nurse pushed a lock of hair out of Evan’s face and sighed longingly.
Sarah, quick to avoid trouble, said to her partner,
“Go talk to the driver, I know she could use some company…” Roy wasn’t hurt by her request; instead he raised his eyebrows and said,
“I know what’s goin’ on… You like him Sarah!” “No. I. Don’t!” Sarah said, hitting Roy with every word. Her face was the rich shade of vermillion, which clashed with her blonde hair that was tied into a bun. Once her colleague did go up to annoy the ambulance driver did she take a deep breathe and say,
“Roy’s girl crazy. I don’t know how he ever made it through medical school acting like that.” She giggled a blush still on her cheeks. To avoid a dilemma again, Sarah looked down at Evan’s face and said softly,
“To be honest, I can’t see how anyone wouldn’t fall in love with that face. It’s so innocent and beautiful…” Sarah bit her lip and sighed, before lifting her blue eyes to Caleb’s, “
Sorry about thinking you two were a couple… You see, Roy up there is my best friend and people think he’s going to ask me to marry him any day now.” The look on her face almost said
‘I wish’. She continued,
“But the thing is. when there’s a pretty girl around, he acts as though I don’t even exist. I honestly don't get you boys...” The ambulance bumped on the curb and Sarah smiled again,
“Here we are!” She pushed the doors opened and hopped out onto the pavement. She pulled Evan’s bed out and wheeled it to the doors, not even waiting for the guys to catch up. When she got the room number, Sarah pushed her bed in and waited for Caleb and Roy to find her and Evan.

“Sounds like something Evan would say,” Micah said looking in the book, when he found it he shoved the book in her hands. A page flashed up showing a picture of a Chocolate Latte. He knew the recipe by heart; he didn’t know why he bothered to find it.
“’You’re happy now!’ Or, ‘Maybe your depression is going away!’ I have seen her in a while… I’ve been a jerk lately.” He sighed and tipped some chocolate milk in a blender and turned it on before searching for some chocolate chips and hot fudge.

Recap? One of my charries is at the hospital and her friend, Caleb, is with her, while the other one sort of "broke into" the library's cafe to make a girl a cup of coffee. Blake's BBQ is tomorrow I think, and Megan wants to plan a Bachelorette party for Kanthy, because her and Blake are a couple. Myra is wandering around aimlessly with a puppy she found i think. And Amy's trying to run away from Aaron, who inists that he can make her forget about Blake.
I don't know if I'm missing something or someone, except that right it is about 11:00 at night and pouring rain.
