No, Elijah's mateless still. Wolves just tend to be very tactile. }}

Morii appreciated her pack-brothers' polite act of staying out of her way. She bared her teeth at the rogue, taunting him with a raspy snarl. He responded in kind and launched. Morii met him mid-air, braced on her hindlegs as their forelegs collided and their teeth met, like a pair of battling bears. The mutt bit her wrist, and she responded tenfold, teeth sinking into his nose mercilessly. A quick jerk freed him, but not without a pained squeal on his part.
Morii was larger than the rogue, though not by much; large she may be but she was still female. With that little bit of extra height, however, she got her teeth around his ear and shoved herself at him, trying to knock him over. As he fell, the damned mutt took the opportunity to lash out. His teeth tore across her throat, enticing a high-pitched yelp from her. But she didn't back off; his teeth hadn't found purchase, and he wasn't about to get a second chance for some like that. She planted her forepaws on his chest, pinning him to the ground. As his hind paws scraped her stomach, tearing out a few good gouges, her teeth found his throat.
He lay still as she stepped away, bleeding from the quick and brutal fight but hardly life-threatened. Morii panted, dropping her nose to wuffle the grass in an attempt to get the taste of werewolf blood from her mouth. Her wounds concerned her not at all; she'd had far worse and in far worse conditions. We're coming, Alpha, she called grimly. If there are any more rogues lurking in our forest, we will deal with them as a pack. She took a step forward, and winced. Stupid wrist-ankle. It would be fine in a few hours, but in the mean time it was a real pain in the tail. She'd been overconfident in that fight. Silently she rebuked herself, making note of what she should and shouldn't have done as she padded towards her packbrothers, heading for their alpha at an easy trot.
She whuffed at Austin, reassuringly; it was alright that he had slept. Even wolves needed sleep.

Evans was on his paws, letting out a snarling bark as a rogue attacked not only his alpha but his kids. Georgia and Ranger whined, yelping as they huddled under their alpha, trusting him to protect them but fearing nonetheless. Evans stood stalk-still, eyes gleaming with raw fury as he trembled with the pain of having to stand by and watch. Even as Elijah dragged the soon-to-be-carcass away, he was frozen to the spot, knowing that if he moved to protect them he would only frighten the pups more. Besides, he was close enough now that any threat could be dealt with swiftly, before the pups even knew their wonderful little lights were in danger of being dimmed. Elijah returned though and, muscle by muscle, Evans forced himself to relax. Abruptly, relief flooded him and he sagged with it as he all but dragged himself towards alpha and pups. He bypassed Aurora wordlessly and whined as he nosed the quivering pups, who had nestled themselves against Elijah immediately upon his return.
Evans flopped down, laying his head next to the pups, unabashed at laying so close to another male. They were wolves. It felt...normal. Pack laid together, and that was that. The pups, still whining, their tails half-tucked with residual fear, rearranged themselves so they were touching not only each other but Evans and Elijah. Between daddy and Alpha, nothing could touch them, and their nerves were settled by instinct and a pup's innocence.
{{ Sorry Morii's reply to Evans AUSTIN is somewhat out of place, and Evans didn't notice Kalika--we were replying at the same time and I dun wanna retype it. XD
